Memento was born in the far 2006 in the thick fog of the Pianura Padana area, between Mantua and Bologna which is worldwide famous not only for Tortellini and Parmesan but also for Techno Music and the deep style. 
A city that keeps always an eye on the first steps of the far Detroit. 
It was born as a creative outlet for Idriss D’s (an algerian dj who fell in love with Italy) musical vision. 
Berlin and the minimal style showed their power during those years and our cowboy decided to give his contribution to the scene creating partly for fun the label Memento.

 Sometimes misunderstood, often facetious but usually shy, Madato is a rebel to conformity. Like his guru David Lynch, his work is whole-heartedly characterized by twisted visions and surreal dreams. 

Growing up in Naples, Italy, Andrea D'Amato was always drawn to his older brother’s DJ techniques, two decks and a massive record collection. He followed suit and began a music career as a DJ at the tender age of 14 and his first introduction to a musical instrument was stimulated by dreams of being a folk musician on one hand and a classic Spanish guitar (still used in his current productions) on the other.

In 2009 Magda included Madato’s The Night's Rumours in the mix for the Fabric 49 compilation, but his history with the Item & Things founding trio actually began earlier in 2008 after being inspired by Troy Pierce’s set at a party in Ibiza. With great ambition, Madato flew back to his hometown and began cranking out tracks for the trio in a similar style, subsequently leading to an Items & Things album titled "Speak Of The She Devel" in April 2011. 

Debuting in Watergate alongside Magda, Chloé, Marc Houle, Troy Pierce and Jimmy Edgar in April 2011 confirmed his extensive producing background. Since then he’s been making a name for himself in various clubs throughout Europe.

Madato’s secret weapon is a personal kit of self-constructed sounds and transformations while his main philosophy is not about making tracks, but rather creating songs from stories taken from his diary of dreams. With a knack for originality and a fearless attitude towards experimentation, this breakthrough artist is a hot item for cutting-edge genres and new markets.

As one of the youngest artists on the roster, Madato brings an open mind and a fresh insight to the label.

Gabriel Ferreira is a multifaceted artist in the music world: DJ, producer, remixer, and co-owner of the label Ninefont Music. Inspired by indie and retro music, he brings his own creative touch with a unique style. His work is characterized by fresh perspectives and innovative rhythms, blending sounds ranging from funk to techno.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Gabriel has always been drawn to older musical rhythms. His career as a producer began at the age of 18 when he was introduced to musical instruments and software, driven by the desire to create his own musical journey. From the start, his work was considered extravagant and evolutionary, consistently pushing boundaries with fresh, innovative sounds.

In 2011, Gabriel signed with Items & Things, a label led by Magda, Troy Pierce, and Marc Houle, releasing his first track, “Sill.” Two years later, he released his second EP, “Good Trip,” which perfectly encapsulated the essence of his musical style. Since then, Gabriel has worked tirelessly to refine his productions, with nearly 20 single releases across various digital and vinyl labels, including Items & Things, Ninefont, Creepy Finger Records, Maleza, Piso Records, This Side Up, and LDG.

As a DJ, Gabriel has performed in cities across the globe, playing at some of the biggest clubs, including Warung (Brazil), Baum (Colombia), Mandarine Park (Argentina), Bahrein (Argentina), Cocoliche (Argentina), Superclub (Argentina), Crobar (Argentina), Sisyphos (Germany), Wilden Renate (Germany), Elefant (Norway), Faraway (Peru), among others. He was also a key figure in Crobar’s transition to techno in Argentina, holding a residency from 2012 to 2015 and sharing the stage with global techno icons such as Magda, Marc Houle, Troy Pierce, Camea, John Acquaviva, Dustin Zahn, The Junkies, Phil Kieran, Stefano Noferini, Hobo, DJ Anna, Jonas Kopp, and Jay Lumen, among others.

Together with his brother Javier, Gabriel co-runs Ninefont, a label focused on minimal, techno, and disco music. Thanks to their patience, passion, and keen ear for quality music, Ninefont has gained respect worldwide, offering a distinctive concept from the Argentine electronic scene with a sound that leans closer to the styles of Berlin and Paris. Currently, their main challenge is to develop a musical concept that resonates globally, which is the core philosophy behind the label.

In 2017, Gabriel released the Karma and Sangomic EPs, both of which had a major impact on charts and dancefloors around the world. That same year, Gabriel was nominated by DJ Mag Latinoamerica as one of the top Argentinian techno producers, while Ninefont was recognized as the best label of the year.

Currently based between Buenos Aires and El Calafate, Argentina, Gabriel continues to focus on his musical vision, with exciting releases and gigs lined up for 2025.

Hailing from Germany’s prolific Rhein-Main area, Frankfurt’s M.in gained his momentum as global player over the last 2-3 years. As producer, DJ, label head and booking agency owner his modern house and techhouse-style clearly owes to the Frankfurt heritage, yet M.in never claimed that promotional tag. He’s sitting firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to his very own style. You can easily dub his beats trademark, bowing to the craftsmanship M.in has developed and refined with his dozens of releases. 

His artist name playfully quotes the minimalism that ruled for long time in German electronics. In fact, M.ins tracks are far from minimal. The only minimal formulae is his credo demanding “the groove to carry the whole track from the core”. From there on, anything can happen! And M.in is known to churn out tracks that conquer hearts and souls with various ingredients: groove, swing, bite, humour and musicality.  „Every track has to have a vibe first““, he says. Well, easy to sign that partition... yet hard to accomplish the task M.in so easily masters. 

M.in’s tracks flow organic and uplifting. With influences from Afrobeat, Latin or his beloved swinging jazz, teaming up with that straight draw of a mighty lowered kick drum and bass. M.in can pair any sound with his down to earth grooves, showcasing open mindedness, curiosity and the sheer lust to experiment with uncommon sounds.
