Courrier Sud, born in France and raised in Casablanca, turns distant sadness into a dreamy groove in this remix of Montreal's Grand Eugène, weaving ethereal vocals with propulsive guitar and bass lines. From Grand Eugène's debut EP (June 2023) via LTA and Délicieuse Musique, 'Mon Amour' takes on a new life, infused with romance and mystique. Grand Eugène will embark on a 5-date French tour this March, culminating in a Paris show at La Maroquinerie, after playing all around Quebec last year.

Skillfully combining house elements with melodious jazz instruments, dublon will keep you dancing all night long. ‘Oyster Jam’ is a jazzy, bouncy track supported by a hypnotic bass line perfect to free your mind from the clutches of everyday life.

The interesting Barcelona/Berlin-based label MM Discos, expertly managed by Da Silva & DJ Katah also known as the duo Moon&Mann, adds another chapter to its compelling story: “Night Runner”, the brand-new endeavour of the in-house collective Statues, hits the shelves of your favourite retailer before the official end of the European winter packed with five made-with-love beautiful authorial gems.

Hailing from London, Statues is fronted by Bradley Lucke and Mark Crooks and occasionally joined by a wide range of artists for spot-on collaborations. For those not familiar with their work, we recommend a quick stroll through their previous appearances on Claremont 56, eclectics, Is It Balearic…?, and MM Discos itself.

Premiered here, the opening theme of the EP is the result of the combination of bouncing percussive elements, melodic synth riffs, and a throbbing bassline. The enchanting vocals by Mochudi are the icing on the cake. A true cosmic Balearic trip infused with shards of psychedelic and Kraut elements, showcasing the talent of the team in bringing seamlessly together some of their most important influences.

Written during a summer visit to the English seaside, transatlantic duo Will Brock and Sumsuch present languid, soulful gem 'Free Born Man', presented with a spine-tingling remix from Deep House hero, Vincenzo.

Warm analogue synth bass and lush keys introduce 'Free Born Man', the perfect foil for Brock's vulnerable and raw vocal performance. Detailing personal struggles with mental health and reminding us that we have choices even in the midst of the fog, this track represents a new level of maturity in the pair's musical journey.

To celebrate Colour and Pitch's 10th anniversary, we treated ourselves to a remix by an all-time production hero, the incomparable Vincenzo. His version reimagines 'Free Born Man' as a timeless Balearic cut, with a hypnotic guitar riff which brilliantly reflects that perfect seaside sunset.
