She tastes like Heaven, and she knows it. Sexy alt-rock embodied. A woman so beautiful you can’t take your eyes off her, enthralling and terrifying. But she might not be all she seems…
“We wrote Heaven crammed in our rehearsal room, which was technically a storage cupboard with drums somehow tucked in the corner,” the lead singer, Linnea, says.
“From the first shaky voice memos, to our favourite show opener, to now; our debut single,” she continues.
The Thrill is a young and thirsty altrock band from Luleå, a city in the very North of Sweden. Their songs are heavy, groovy, with fat riffs and brazen lyrics, or open, flowy, with raw themes. Purple clouds, dangerous women and creaky beds. They recorded Heaven and their upcoming album on their own, commuting two hours every weekend and sleeping in the studio.

Alternative rock combined with some country twang. A girl’s night out on the town and the cowboys won’t stop ogling. Sure, flirting is fun, but all the boys are too drunk for anything else.
“This is our favorite show closer. Except our secret extra song, of course. But we’re never releasing that one. To hear it you’ll have to be at our show screaming for ‘one more song’,” the lead singer Linnea says, laughing.
Anytime Soon is The Thrill’s second single and a crowd favorite from their shows.
“The first time someone screamed for a specific song during one of our shows, it was Anytime Soon,” says Linnea.
The thing that The Thrill loves most is standing on stage and meeting the audience. Alongside releases, music videos, filmed studio sessions, merch and social media, they’re planning to play live as much as possible. In Sweden but also the rest of the world.
“The best way to experience music is live. Nothing beats the feeling in the room,” the guitarist Lucas says.
