JAHRIN takes the spotlight in this Comet Collective episode. Jahrin is the musical project of Yarin Bar, launched in 2018. His fascination with music was sparked at 16 through underground parties, and just a few years later, a life-changing festival in Israel set him firmly on the path of creating transformative, trance-inducing soundscapes. Shaped by private studies with leading Israeli artists, Jahrin draws inspiration from psytrance culture, raves, and nature gatherings, weaving in elements of blues, rock, funk, and ethnic sounds with live instruments like the baglama and guitar. As co-founder of Comet Collective with Itay Aluf (Elastic), he works to support and showcase emerging electronic artists on an international stage. This episode features a new improvised mix, including unreleased tracks from his upcoming album and fresh collaborations with friends, an intimate glimpse into Jahrin’s evolving journey through psychedelic sound.

One Last Trip was a small but meaningful gathering for my farewell to the island. It felt right to craft a second chapter of Life is a Journey as some stories deserve more than one telling. This was not just about playing tracks but about closing a chapter with laughter, dancing and one final ride together before the next adventure begins. This mix is both a goodbye and a reminder that every ending carries the seed of a new beginning.

only the first track which is from 2020 as i like it
but this is not retro recordings all tracks were remade buy the artists to have today's sound

got into electronic dance music in the late 80s doing the full rave experience 4.4 hardcore,techno,house,hard house,garage,nuenergy.
then i went to a future productions party (enlightenment) boom i found my scratch psycadelic trance.
as a dancer and psycadelic explora/
got very involved making free party's in the arches(Brighton) ovingdeen,warehouses, squats, ash-down forest and finally my own back yard.
had to leave went to India varshish ware i connected with the fins and started the standing wave project making party's in manarli,kesharl,shnarg,varshish,rajestarn,bombay,goa and copang gang.
thought a twist of life went to Israel in 97 and started psycotropiccarmel making hit and run party's in the forest up until 2006 (never busted)/
specialised in trance weddings(only in Israel?)
helped to release new artists like insect sun,dark soho,atain(injection,dna).
inspireing others like ultravoice,star x .
now after a 4 year break ive got new ears (432hz) to break the 440hz demon and bringing some fresh ideas to the scene to help our evolving conciousness
