R.sinik (arsenic) is a lyricist and producer from Portland, Oregon. He began writing lyrics and battling in high school where him and two friends formed the rap group Outtelligence. They would go on to release 3 separate projects as a group, being featured in movies and on an unsigned hype mixtape distributed by Shadyville records.

Since 2007 R.Sinik has been working as a solo artist, releasing multiple singles and two full length albums; Live From Nowhere (2016) and John Was Here (2024). He is known for his politically driven socially conscious songs and intricately layered multisyllabic rhyme schemes and word play.
