Unchained launches into 2020 with it’s first multi-artist compilation celebrating its ethos and vision for edge-driven sound.

Forming part of a new annual release series, observing the Chinese lunar calendar, “The Year of The Rat” compilation brings together some of our favourite producers on the label and welcomes some new members into the Unchained family from various corners of the globe - including China, Europe, the UK, the States and Canada.

Coming out of China, we have 3ASiC, who represents part of the ever-evolving vein of Bass spreading through the region and for which we are proud to be nurturing on the label.

Each and everyone of these consciously orchestrated sound-wave patterns that are what make up the contents of my SoundCloud account, act as a piece of auditory symbolism to portray a past reflection of my "then" state of consciousness, mood, experience and my own vibrational frequency.  I hope that you may stumble upon an past wave I have since ridden, and at times arrive back at to pursue the experience yet again.  I firmly believe if you find your self jamming' the funck out to one of my selections, you are then at that point in time jamming out with muah in the ever lasting space and time of what is the realm of Deep-Funky-Electro-Retro GOODNESS! A self-taught musician and one of the early pioneers of the Wave genre, "Papa" Fyoomz has established his own darker style within Wave, influenced by Deep Dubstep, DnB, and other fellow Wave artists.

In 2017, Fyoomz founded vibe.digital as a radio show on KRUI, 100.1 FM in Iowa City, Iowa, focusing on the Wave scene and its related artists. The support for the show was enormous, both in social media shares and in artists from around the world submitting music to get plays. After careful deliberation, Fyoomz turned vibe.digital into a record label in conjunction with Djedi and M!NGO. Now he is A&R and co-founder of "vibe.digital Recordings," a forward thinking platform created around forming global interpersonal connections through music and art.

In 2020, his remake/cover of 'Deadmau5 - Faxing Berlin' was signed by Play Records, the label that released the original song. It is one of 4 tracks that round out his debut "Fyoomz EP," an optimistic take on Wave during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing the Wave sound to one of Canada’s leading electronic music labels.

In 2024 he co-founded Symmetry Festival based in Libertyville, Iowa. A forward thinking music festival with an emphasis on the cutting edge of electronic bass music, including Wave.

Digé M0m0, c’est un voyage expérimental à elle seule. Que ce soit dans son art plastique ou dans sa musique, tout est propice à être transformé. Ses sets sont de véritables moments de création novateurs où elle laisse place à l’accident.
A l’image des artistes pluridisciplinaires qui l’inspirent - comme DJ Marcelle ou Grimes - elle propose une écoute instinctive et organique de ses œuvres. De Marseille sur Tikka Radio à Bruxelles sur Radio Vacarme, elle fait résonner des sonorités breakés, électro, tantôt planantes, tantôt brutales. Digé M0m0, c’est un style éclectique et hétéroclite qui n’a qu’un seul objectif : faire du dancefloor un laboratoire des possibles.
