Hi, I’m Shay B Michelle,  A proud Gen-X, coastal native, born under southern skies on a hot mid-summer’s afternoon. Some may know me as Flamingo Chick, my alter ego & inner muse who shares my personal values centred on fun, curiosity, & kindness (FCK). 

I am a multi-disciplinary and experimental artist and creativity advocate. I believe all humans are creative and we exist to experience life and to share our perspectives through creative expression, and this is how we bring humanity together, influencing our world towards truth, healing and growth. 

We each leave a legacy through what we create, and this is what drives me. I don’t do this for money, for a living, or for fame. I’m content and fulfilled in the process of creating. 

My intention by sharing my creative work, is to inspire society to embrace human creativity, to remember what unites us, to stand up against the toxic algorithms, power greedy and super rich. No one needs more than a billion dollars, yet they exist in a world of hunger, war, and pain. People are suffering as is our beautiful blue planet. We will save ourselves when we all remember we are creative beings, and we abandon capitalism and consumerism for lives of simple abundance and meaningful community.

My music is my storytelling. It’s deeply personal, all of me and my life, captured in moments and memories shared out loud.
