Anthrocene was formed in 2014 when Jesse Mazur (Guitar), Danny Tormoen (Guitar), and Matt Ward (Drums) needed an outlet for their bent up rage of being stuck behind a  computer terminal at their day jobs. Shortly after inception, Keith Wyss (Bass), found he too was meant for more than staring at a monitor and joined up giving a deep bass sound with doom and progressive influences. Finally, we found we needed a strong vocalist with a diverse range, and a steady supply of whiskey, so Bo Sagal, decided to spend time away from distilling spirits to fill out our sound.

We're anxious to start sharing what we've created with Seattle and are in the process of looking for other bands to play with for local shows.

If I were to describe myself Seeing as I have no band and I create my music myself I would say that I am a Metalcore composer simply trying to make his mark in the world  I'm really looking for a vocalist to collaborate with 



We're a studio band called Neanderthal Thinktank, from Seattle, Washington, USA. Ours music is a fusion of sorts, one part Rock-n-Roll, one part Alternative Rock, one part Political-Commentary and a pinch of chaos. Our mission is to boldly disperse thought-provoking jams with the world, and throughout time-space, the final frontier. As we hone our song-writing craft we'll deposit the results of our labors here for your enjoyment and hopefully enlightenment.
