Feeling Joy

I know lots of people in our house scene are hurting now, and when I can't sleep, sometimes music can help make it right. This is one of those moments when only music can help me. I am posting this mix from last night, so it might help others see some light in this darkness.

It's just from the heart,  and yes,  there's sadness in this, there's joy and hopefully, you feel some hopefulness. As Jim Burgress told me at 18, "you just play from your soul, and it'll all work out." This is for those who understand. We have lost a few who really understood lately and it hurts.

I was compelled to work with this crew off rip. The vibes seemed right. I am so grateful for the experience we all had at the SS closer and I sneakily recorded the mix. It was a wonderful evening of smiles, hugs, and all around good energy. I got SLIZZZZZZERED and strung this together without planning but I had a game plan. Play all my fave cuts, old and new. It is not perfect, thers some sloppy moments, but i feel it captures a snapshot of what we all were feeling. The best parties have less than 100 people. But the right people.
