With a deep-rooted background in drum & bass, Komodo is known for delivering captivating sets that navigate a range of intricate rhythms and sounds. His journey started after discovering Brisbane’s underground DNB scene and outdoor events in SEQ, which had him hooked immediately and ignited his passion to start mixing. These grassroot gatherings and events still guide his musical evolution—and keeps him grounded in the community that inspired him.

Over the years, he developed his sound and style, crafting journeys that flow through genres such as DNB, 140 and halftime. Komodo has shared the stage with international artists including Paige Julia, Hypho, PAV4N, S.P.Y., General Levy, Mungo’s Hifi, and Halogenix, and performed at notable festivals including Imbolc in South Australia, Initiation Festival over New Year's Eve in 2023, and Archaic Gathering in North Queensland. With each set he remains committed to evolving, looking for ways to creatively push boundaries and deliver captivating performances.

Cadenzo (AKA Andy T) started DJ'ing in early 1997.  Initially, influences came from the DJ's and producers of the Hardcore/ Jungle scene in the late 90's. Even though at the time he was too young to attend these types of parties, the influence and technical ability of the Dj's really attracted Andy to the world of Dj'ing.  He got his first set of turntables and started making mix tapes for friends circa 1997,  which led to gig's at small venues and house parties.  This led him up until the early 2000's where the general rise of House and Trance music took over most local bars and clubs.  Due to a change in musical taste, it introduced Andy to a new circuit of DJ's & friends within the scene, leading to gigs at larger venues.  After playing House and Trance music for a couple of years Andy then found himself getting more involved in the rising UK Garage scene. He then went on to form a DJ partnership and subsequent syndicate called 'Ready Or Not' with two of his close friends.  This secured gigs in the UK Garage scene, predominantly across the South Wales area.  They were big advocates of the early Grime/ Dubstep sound, as their sets were usually mixed up with Grime and UK Garage.  It was during this period that they got in contact with legend of Uk Garage, namely Mr Richie 'Vibe' Vee.  At the time, Richie was hosting the BBC’s 1Xtra flagship UKG show 'The Blueprint', they were invited to play alongside Richie on several occasions to showcase their talent.  

In 2006 they started working with Welsh producer, Rhys Buckley, who now forms part of the EDM syndicate 'The Futuristic Polar Bears’.  It was during this period, they started a production outfit called 'The Slikk-4' putting their own twist on UKG and then evolving ‘Baseline’ sound!  In 2007 they were invited back to BBC Radio 1Xtra to appear on 'Ras Kwame's' show (alongside Richie 'Vibe' Vee again), to showcase their new studio efforts.  A few releases followed, namely 'Twister' or more well known as the 'Huckleberry' Remix on Dj Luck and Mc Neat's label 'Lush Recordings'.  The Slikk-4 went on to host a residency at Swansea's 'Cro Bar', playing alongside some of the UK's finest DJ's and artists within the scene, including Roll Deep, Wiley, Dj Cameo, Heartless Crew, Jamie Duggan, Shaun Banger Scott and The Dream Team, to name but a few.  They played at a number of venues across S Wales.  However, the collaboration was short lived due to each member keen to pursue individual projects.  

Andy continued to DJ solo, but accompanied by MC Dubble C.  They held down a weekly residency at the legendary’Escape Club' Swansea, where they would pack out the Uk Garage room. They developed a committed following and gained invaluable experience on co running a regular club night.  They played alongside some of the biggest artists in the scene, such as DJ EZ, Artful Dodger, Matt Jam Lamont, The Wideboys, Dj Luck and Mc Neat, Platinum, H20, Eugene Vee, Riche Vee and several of the country’s top Mc’s...but the list goes on!

Fast forward to 2022, Andy now plays a wide range of deep liquid, minimal, drum and bass and busy in the studio making beats, under the name 'Cadenzo'.
