This second release from Globe Music, our very own record label, celebrates the music from the Globe’s award-winning 2012 – 2014 Broadway and West End productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III. 

Performing music that Shakespeare would recognise on a wide array
of rare historical instruments, the Musicians of Shakespeare’s Globe
perform over two dozen short masterworks from the period that
featured so prominently in these productions. This includes works by Morley, Holborne, Dowland, Gibbons, Mundy, and others, arranged by Claire van Kampen.

Founded by the pioneering American actor and director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare's Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and the playhouse for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education.

Together, the Globe Theatre, Globe Exhibition & Tour and Globe Education seek to further the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance.
