Grammy Award winning act DEEP FOREST are set to release new album EVO DEVO on the 10th June via Metropolis Records. Deep Forests’ Signature-Anthem “Sweet Lullaby” instantly opened the world stage for the band. Their associated first album became a huge success and gained gold, platinum or double-platinum status in numerous countries like Australia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan or the United States. In 1995 Deep Forest won the prestigious Grammy Award for their album Boheme. They were the first French artists to win a Grammy Award and to this day, they only share this honour with Daft Punk.

Your prayers have been heard and the wait is over. Dekmantel is happy to present the repress of the sought-after 2015 Patta Anthem ‘The Best I Could Do (With What I Had)’ by Young Marco. Dusty, shuffling grooves, fuzzy analogue melodies fused at a sleep-disco pace: this is pure and distinct transportive power. On the flip Amsterdam based LA producer Suzanne Kraft racks up an excellent remix. The suspense is almost unbearable as dusty, lo-fi drums lay down rattling patterns, before Kraft brings in warm, all-enveloping synth stabs.

DKMNTL X PATTA 05 will be available on July 28 through the Dekmantel and Patta webshop, the Patta store in Amsterdam and during Dekmantel Festival 2016 only.

He Is The Voice I Hear’ is my first all new work since “Lady Of Sorrows.” It’s been a long journey from there to here. I’m so thrilled to continue the story and finally realize my dream of bringing together an ensemble of live musicians.

This record was a joy to create with my engineering and production partner, Rupert Murray, Davide Rossi on strings and Christoforo LaBarbera on keys. The vinyl was mastered and cut by Tim Xavier for Manmade Mastering.  We’ve also put some special touches into the design of the record itself. 

Incredible thanks to Adam Rowe, Andrew Gordon, Jake Nelson and everyone that helped make this record possible at all.
