Sound artist and experimental ambient musician KMRU, takes us on AF Reflect Eyewear's sound journey.

Joseph Kamaru, aka KMRU, is a sound artist and experimental ambient musician, raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and currently based in Berlin where he is a Master’s student in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at the Universität der Künste. His works deal with discourses of field recording, improvisation, noise, ambient, machine learning, radio art and expansive hypnotic drones. He has earned international acclaim from his performances in far-flung locales as well as his ambient recordings.

Italian composer @andreabelfi shares an acoustically infused experimental mix with us today, and it’s as striking as his rich background. The producer previously opened for acclaimed alternative musician Thom Yorke on his international tour. He has also collaborated with the likes of renowned ambient musicians like Nils Frahm and Jóhann Jóhannsson. Enjoy this hour of ten richly ambient tracks that take your mind away from thoughts of chaos and disruption for its entire duration.

Circadian Rhythm w. Diamin guest Jasmín

How does the presence or absence of light regulates our internal biological processes and moods? 
Circadian rhythms are endogenous time-keeping systems that synchronize most organisms, from unicellular cyanobacterium to humans, to the external solar cycle. Since light information is the most potent synchronizing factor, biological clocks coordinate the individual’s internal physiological and biochemical processes according to light and dark cycles.

The show is divided into two sets of 1 hour and the musical selection of each DJ reflects those moments: day or night. In this episode Jasmín (NL) is in charge of the first part of the program, and Diamin (CL) of the second.
