I proudly publish my first solo set, which I was allowed to play at Kiez Burn 2022, Saturday 6 a.m. Thanks to the wonderful people of Bangers & Mash for letting me be part of this wonderfully vibrant and warm camp. It was an honor, it was a blast.
Thanks to all the laughing and shaking people on the dance floor. You made my first time very special :)

Kiez Burn 2022 (Bangers & Mash)

Beim diesjährigen Prærie Festival durften KBLZ und Dora Dox ihr gemeinsames Debut feiern und einen Ausritt durch die wilde Steppe der magischen Ländereien des neuen Praerie Geländes unternehmen. Sie trabten durch die Wildnis bis sie auf die wundersame Schnorchelhütte trafen und beschlossen, einen gemeinsamen Tauchgang zu wagen. So blubberten sie vergnügt durch die treibenden Bässe und funky-housigen Klänge und brachten so alle Unterwasserbewohner zum groovigen Meerestanz.

Das erste Mal gemixt habe ich 2022!

Wie war dein Weg bisher? 
Musik war schon immer ’n Ding, Playlists erstellen ist meine absolute love language, und wenn die Musik nicht läuft mache ich sie an. Irgendwann hat mich mal jemand gefragt: Warum mixt du eigentlich nicht? Und ja, valide Frage, was sollte ich sagen, warum eigentlich nicht?? Also habe ich mir einen Controller geliehen, Videos auf Youtube geschaut, euren Workshop besucht, und geübt. Es folgten viele Wohnzimmer- und Gartenparties, zu denen ich dann statt Spotify nun diesen Controller mitgeschleppt habe, hahaha - und meinen ersten richtigen Gig hatte ich dann im März 2024 im Klunkerkranich. Könnt ihr euch nicht ausdenken, wie aufgeregt ich war, uiui.

Was ist dir an einem Safespace wichtig?
Die Freiheit und der Frieden, zu sein wie du bist. Begegnung auf Augenhöhe.

Dutch producer and DJ, https://soundcloud.com/elmundomusicpage has been at the forefront of electronic music for over two decades. Since moving to Berlin he’s cultivated a sound that encompasses deep, rhythmic textures and suave melodic soundscapes. 
El Mundo entered the electronic music scene as a DJ in Nijmegen in 2002, and soon started producing music with Satori, gaining international acclaim as the duo El Mundo & Satori. By 2012, he pursued a solo career in Berlin, where he developed his distinct sound, met and began collaborating with instrumentalist/ vocalist Zazou, while founding his label, Quetame.
