This album is the manifestation of years of pain, internal suffering, and loneliness. The emotions never spoken, but seeped into the very core of everything I ever touched. The loss of my father, the devastating breakup that followed shortly after, the feeling of guilt as if it was all somehow my fault, and yet a glimmer of hope shine through to show the new life I breathed into the world...the beauty and optimism that were born from the ashes of the hollow shell of who I used to be. I came to terms with loss, grief, and death, we shook hands and made our peace, and now I'm at ease...staring into the eternal abyss and concluding that the only certainty in life...is death. To pray for anything beyond that is to pray for control over one's existence and eternal well-being which is something we simply will never have. Sometimes it's nice to recognize your inability to have control...nothingness becomes holy...and you know that Forever Isn't for Everyone!

New York native Noah B arrives on Terrorhythm for his debut release, Night's Edge.

Having been a key part of this sound's emergence through his support for it on Rinse FM, Plastician felt that it was time to begin presenting it through his Terrorhythm imprint. Still without a real name or true identity as a genre of it's own, it's being referred to by many simply as "Wave" whilst it finds it's feet. 

Noah B's unique take on the style draws in the trademark eerie pads, hip hop and trap style drum patterns and mixes them with his blend of great synth and bass lines. With small nods to more club oriented sounds and drum patterns, his take is unique in the sense that it feels more club ready than a lot of the productions from many of his peers in the movement.

18 months on from the now legendary DJ mix "The Wave Pool MMXV", Plastician presents the much anticipated follow up mix, this time with an accompanying 29 track album of the tracks included within.

The question asked of the first mix was whether or not a new sound was emerging out of the internet - 18 months on, and countless great productions since, this collection of tracks from some of the Wave movement's key players and new blood seeks to gain approval of the Wave genre's arrival.

Including tracks from Klimeks, Kareful, Skit, Sorsari, Deadcrow, Anubis XIII, Hnrk, Noah B, Brothel and more - it's clear to see that this compilation has called upon some of the scene's most noted producers to stake it's claim. 

Mixed and curated by Plastician whose Rinse FM radio show was the platform for this movement to be brought to the attention of the wider public, as well as his Survey parties in Phonox being the initial club night at which this scene established itself outside of the internet - this album is another statement from the man that this sound is not trying to disappear into obscurity any time soon.

ARTIST BIO
From one of the hottest up-and-coming cities of the Midwest, you’ll find artist Nick Rowland, captivating the EDM scene of Grand Rapids, MI with the bright and vibrant look and sounds of his alias, Super Future. Rowland’s style is a diverse combination of hard-hitting bass lines,  groovy upbeat melodies, and bright future-style synths, all complimented by elements of ethnic and experimental percussion. You can even find him showing his live music prowess playing live guitar over his original music.

It’s easy to hear that Rowland’s musical inclination was tapped into at an early age, when he was shredding the classics on his guitar. His music today taps into his early love for live instruments, with elements of various guitar and percussion types underneath the powerful synths exemplifying his sound. You’ll hear his love for all styles in his self-titled debut EP “Super Future” where he brings forward his proclaimed genres Vibrant Beat and World Trap. Following the release of his full-length album ‘South Hills,’ and a string of shows across the US, Noah B is back with ‘Realm: Instant Experience,’ a four-track release on vibe.digital, this time in partnership with down-tempo prodigy Just Connor. Just Connor gained scene-wide attention after earning a coveted spot on Plastician’s seminal ‘Wavepool 2’ compilation and being featured on 'vibe.digital - Vol 1. '

With ‘Realm: Instant Experience,’ Noah B and Just Connor pay homage to the sound which bought them together. The EP is beautiful, hard-hitting and unapologetically wavey. Just as the EP’s name suggests, no time is lost on drawn-out introductions, with a heady, club-ready banger in the first track, ‘Infinity Edge.’ ‘Veilance’ then proceeds to deepen the intensity, taking things darker with hypnotic drums, futuristic soundscapes and a progressive structure. ‘Veliance’ closes after a couple of meditative climaxes, leading us into the next track, ‘Murakami’, which has a distinctly oriental feel. Named after the novelist, ‘Murakami’ pulls the listener back and forth across a sweet-spot of psychedelic bliss. The EP ends with ‘Virtuous Contract,’ a titanic masterpiece which utilizes Wave’s renowned glacial sound pallet to craft a poignant closing track.

‘Realm: Instant Experience’ is an instant classic. Noah B and Just Connor use their talents to cast insight into Wave at its finest. Deep, sensitive and categorically designed for the dance floor, ‘Realm: Instant Experience’ is liable to evoke all manner of profound sensation in the listener and convert any novice to the sound.
