Difficilmente inquadrabile nelle comuni definizioni di generi, The Talking Bugs è il progetto creato dai chitarristi Alessandro di Furio e Fausto Ghini, dal contrabbassista Paolo Andrini e dal percussionista di origini berbere Youssef Ait Bouazza.
Alternativo, a partire dallo stile con cui gli strumenti (rigorosamente classici) vengono approcciati, contrapponendo melodie sussurrate e dinamiche impalpabili a riff incisivi e ostinati, attimi sospesi ed eterei a momenti intensi e vorticosi.
Composizione ispirata che attinge a molte fonti e senza cedere alle tentazioni del manierismo predilige le sonorità strumentali dal retrogusto transeuropeo. Etno rock contaminato grunge. Ritmiche corrotte e delicati intarsi armonici che avvolgono la voce agrodolce di Alessandro di Furio e il suo tocco garbatamente malinconico.
