Whenever Tony Maroni takes the stage, even the most weary of spectators begin to move their bodies. Inspired by jazz, blues and rock’n roll, he experiments with a range of the styles and genres of electronic dance music. He first encountered Electro Swing in 2011 and was struck by its jazzy melodies and driving electro beats and his lively and melodic sets ensure that concert-goers go home in high spirits. Tony Maroni is often joined on stage by saxophone player Cab Canavaral and the live shows, with their unique sound and originality, guarantee the audience a rare glimpse at a class outfit. In 2012 the started the event series „Swing It!!!“ which is grown to a fixpoint in the viennese vintage scene.

Electronica inspired Synth Pop duo from Oxford

Begining in 2005 as General Dizzarae (waxdj link), Max Doobius, now The Big Funky Couch, has always quested for eccentric and thought-provoking music. BFC has been a huge part of the scene in Medicine Hat A.B by connecting with the groups who do the shows by the likes of Infinite Sounds & Faction Music Group. Playing a multi-genre style by fusing everything from swing to dubstep, to house & gitch hop. This kid is on the rise and he can always promise a rocking time when hes on the decks. Having a true love for his turntables, The BFC has always put a heavy emphasis on the art of turntabilism. The man has also held down a spot at the Unity Stage at Motion Notion Music Festival in Golden B.C For 2 years in a row. The Big Funky Couch has also opened up for more than a handful of amazing international talent from all over the world by the likes of - Featurecast, Wakcutt, Marten Horger, Parker,LongWalkShortDock,The Freestylers, Random Humanas, Mr. Bill, Defunk, Dj Czech, Funkanomics, Sweatshop Union, Kyprios, Pigeon Hole, Bryx, Riley J, Grossbuster and many more!

With a particular passion for the sounds of Pop, Soul and Motown, as made popular by the legendary groups The Supreme's and The Four Seasons, and music icons Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Tina Turner to name but a few, The Amorelles perform classic 60's hits with their own close harmonies and retro inspired choreography.
