This is dedicated to Brooke and her partner.  Brooke contacted us, saying that she and her partner were big fans.  She asked us to write them a song in honor of their upcoming wedding as a surprise to her partner.  Brooke filled us in on some of their history (both ups and downs) and then we went to work.  It took us longer than expected but we're proud of it and hope they are too...  (lyrics below)

Last Forever

Overfocus. A soundtrack from which someone could interpret different feelings. For me, it's a journey through a downward spiral caused by focusing too much on certain things so that I don’t have energy left for the other to-do’s, but slowly but surely working on moving on from that. I often throw too much on my plate than I can handle by either saying yes too much, procrastination, or losing interest by wasting too much time on something. I'm still struggling with it a lot and need to learn what is "good enough" and more important: WHEN is it good enough? This soundtrack is a good example funnily enough. I put this soundtrack together with care, but rather fast. Leaving me wondering: Is it really finished now? Should I maybe add some things to it? But that's the whole point. I needed to accept that it was good as it is. And I did. So this soundtrack is a very small, coincidental example of how to do it right. I want to get to a point where I don't let this problem flood my to-do's and lose all energy to start working on any of those to-do's at all. 

The cover art is a tunnel in a metro station that I walked through every day going to school or from school to home. It's in the exact environment of where I'm struggling with this today. It also has a sense of walking with tunnel vision. You can only go one way forward and the end seems to be far. So let's try and start working towards managing all these to-do's, while not putting all my focus on one thing and losing track of the rest. Get that end of the tunnel closer and closer.
