Cinquième fois que je la réécoute en boucle. Surprenant. Il se passe plein de choses lors de l'écoute,  on traverse plein d'ambiances différentes, la structure n'est pas banale du tout, le refrain rentre du premier coup en tête.  Et le son énorme. La batterie a une putain de compression et de pêche. C'est quand même bien un batteur qui est en place. La petite disto sur la basse super. Tout est bien harmonisé, mixé. La voix est sincére. A aucun moment on ne s'ennuie. Personnellement ce n'est pas le son de gratte que j'aime écouter mais elles ont leur personnalité et fonctionnent vraiment très bien entre elles donc chapeau. Trés beau travail! Allez je la remet :o)

BIOGRAPHIE (English version of the biography hereunder)
Lorsque Fred, Tom et Chris forment 
The Angry Cats en 2010, ils ont déjà
plusieurs vies de musiciens à leur 
actif, des centaines de concerts, 
des dizaines d’heures de studio, 
des expériences tous azimut et une 
solide culture musicale. 
Influencé à la fois par le Rock’n’Roll, 
le Punk-Rock, le Texas-blues, la 
Musique Industrielle ou encore le Stoner, 
le son du trio est très personnel, 
à la fois classique et dopé par une 
énergie multiforme et révoltée, 
celle du Rock depuis ses origines. 

The Angry Cats ont joué dans les réseaux 
alternatifs de France, de Suisse ou 
d’Allemagne, et aussi sur des scènes 
prestigieuses, comme au Jazz Festival 
de Montreux ou encore à l’Olympia à Paris.

Fred ALPI : chant, guitare. 
Né en Suède, Fred vit à Amiens, 
Bruxelles, Berlin puis Paris. 
Son parcours va du Punk-Rock à la 
Musique Industrielle en passant par 
la Chanson, le Blues et le Rockabilly. 
Une voix de crooner et des guitares 
qui alternent mélodies et stridences 
bruitistes.

Chris GIANORSI : batterie.
Niçois d’origine, Chris se prend 
d’amour pour les tambours dès son 
plus jeune âge, et a joué dans des 
combos influencés par le rock et 
le hard rock des 60’s et des 70’s.
Son style éruptif rappelle celui 
des batteurs de power trios légendaires.

Tom DECAESTECKER : basse.
Tom voit le jour au cœur des brumes 
flamandes, et avant de jouer de la 
basse dans un groupe punk à la suite 
d’un voyage initiatique en Amérique du 
Sud, il est guitariste et chanteur de blues. 
Un son de basse nerveux, un jeu tendu 
et une forte présence scénique.

When Fred, Tom and Chris created 
The Angry Cats in 2010, they had already 
lived several lives as musicians with hundreds 
of gigs, dozens of hours in recording studios, 
experiences of all kinds and a strong musical 
culture. Influenced by Rock’n’Roll, Punk-Rock, 
Texas-blues, Industrial Music or Stoner Rock, 
the band’s sound is very personal, both classic 
and doped by a multiform energy of revolt, 
the same sense of protest that has defined 
Rock music from the start.  

The Angry Cats have been playing as part 
of the Alternative scene in France, 
Switzerland or Germany, as well as at 
prestigious venues such as the Montreux 
Jazz Festival or the Olympia in Paris.

Fred Alpi: vocals, guitar. 
Born in Sweden, Fred has  lived in Amiens, 
Brussels, and Berlin before settling in Paris. 
He started out with Punk Rock and Industrial 
Music, and then French Chanson, Blues and 
Rockabilly. 
His is the voice of a crooner and plays a 
guitar that alternates between melody and 
noisy stridence. 

Chris Gianorsi: drums.
Originally from Nice, Chris fell in love 
with drums when he was just a kid. 
He has been playing in combos and is
Influenced by rock and  hard-rock of 
the 60’s and the 70’s.

Tom Decaestecker: bass guitar.
Tom was born in the heart of the Flemish 
fog. Before playing bass upon his return 
from a long journey of initiation in South 
America, he has already made his way as a 
guitar player and blues singer. His is a 
nervous sounding bass, with a tight way 
of playing and a strong presence on stage.
