Sailor&I’s new single ‘Losing Track of Love’ strikes a melancholy bliss, with trademark synth work and vocals entering darker territory.

Fresh off the release of his 2nd Album ‘Diving for Lost Treasure’ in 2021, the Swedish singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Alexander Sjödin is already onto the next chapter of his craft.

With the accompaniment of a 60 piece orchestra, Sailor&I is making ambitious steps - treating the recordings of the players as samples, evoking the sounds of classic trip-hop.

Paired with its music video, the track's dynamics become color and light - a glowing white orb flickering in the darkness explodes into a fiery technicolor dreamscape, the track living inside this imagery. 

‘Losing Track of Love’ is a stark and starry-eyed move into exciting new grounds.

Italian born, Berlin based Giordano returns to Soma after the success of his first EP bringing his tough yet melancholic sound back to the label with the Heat Is Too Hot EP. 

Title track Heat Is Too Hot gets this moving quickly with huge, rumbling kick drums leading the charge before dischordant synths chill the atmosphere. Forename keeps things rough and ready with distorted percussive elements set again sweeping, panoramic atmospheres. Piangere closes out Giordano's latest release on a more melodic tip but still retains his standard tough drum workouts and soundscapes.
