This is a Bass Line Groove and walking totally improvised first take at 100BPM that I recorded. I took some conga 100BPM pattern and loop them in a track and mixed them together. Then my friend Francis played his drum track and he also done a piano track and solos parts

Wrote this after being challenged by my Auntie Jan to write a positive song... So after sucking in what I could. Here it is.

The name Kardia is paying homage to Elpiverse. For most of the day before this song I wished SoundCloud had repeat for the first time. (Eh have since been shown how to repeat 🙈) Her first song is incredible and really warmed my heart. Kardia can mean the heart of your energy in Greek. Or to quote one of the two angels that inspired this piece, Elpiverse, who kindly took the time to leave a lovely comment.

"Kardia has both a literal and metaphorical meaning. It is the organ, but it also represents our emotional world, our deepest self. We use the word in many ways."

Not enough space here for all the sessions notes but sure.. If your life allows and you want to listen to them they are there too.

We had a family bereavement whilst I was writing this. My Uncle Dick passed away. Rest in Peace Dick. I got your back man! He was 77. As a hat tip to that I made the tune 77 bars long. this opened the door to imagining being in the afterlife for the dance part to the end. I've added a further intention to this asking all the passed beings to give us a hand sorting out a birrah World Peace! What harm! It's just a song right? There is plenty of waffle on each version. I'll try and compile it all in one articulate page in another session. At some point we will have another vocal on it so that will be a nice evolution of the idea. I've heard a preview and if you don't believe me when I sing... Wait to be convinced!!!

I guess in summary it is my version of what I think we both believe (My Aunt and Moi) the Universe is. As humans with a physical body, we are beings made of energy that have not yet, as the human race, fully tapped the link between that energy and our consciousness. Intention's positive and negative are integral parts of this belief system and the desired quality of whatever is projected creates your reality because you experience the universe that way. You take control by observing it instead of trying to fit your pre conceived possibly distorted, notions. My Aunt, I believe is the person that I know whom is most connected with her spirit and her whole being. This is reflected back at you when you meet her. Pure Light!

So further... adding the Golden Ratio purposely in the tune may unlock something. Tuned to 432Hz and using 639Hz throughout (Heart Solfeggio)...I'm imagining a sort of whole song cymantics... A dream of course if a proper sound scientist was here but I'm not sure the intentions are completely useless... In a mad universe like ours sure it might hold some truth and be useful to us. That's what next year's album is about. More science backup! Bring it on🎧

Thanks a centillion for ALL the support. I love you all for helping me in so many ways with what I've loved doing for 38 years, making music. This is a human made list of life dives. I'd happily explain any process to you if you wish or are wondering something about TBD. Just ask, I'm Carl and I love sharing what I've discovered and learned especially in the songs themselves. I see songs as one of the finest ways to learn something and bolt your truth to on any subject in a direct yet maybe less imposing manner as your singing it and making it mellifluous. It's hard to sing what you feel is a lie so in my view writing truly honest lyrics and making them songs can be a mini thesis for you on any subject.

No AI here... AI creativity insults my entire existence and the memory of all the dead artists that got their amazing work plagiarised to build current LLMs. I actually hope we legislate to fix that in the future if possible. Delete it and start again in my view. Building an Artificial Intelligence on stealing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Very clever! I'll stick with my actual intelligence thank you very much!
I do respect there are positive applications using AI music and in the future they will hopefully grow to being great for humanity. Right now though I believe there's a responsibility for artists to paint how humans make this world of music so generations that will only experience the world with AI music have a proper reference to retain and grow with. It's a fight for the soul of art until the soul of art is saved. Then we can utilise AI creativity more in my opinion but we have to make it an environment that doesn't wipe out individual evolution evolving music like they have done. A machine doing it for you is more matrix then artist
