The Berlin-based, rising wave/post-punk duo hits back to Detriti records with their second EP: Neon Arabesque.

While the A-side of the cassette includes the original trilogy of” Neon Arabesque”, the B-side contains two songs stressing the complex nature of repetitive patterns and painful behaviors.
The trilogy of “Neon Arabesque” challenges the set borders of time, space, and musical genres. From Turkish poetry to Neue Deutsche Welle and synth-punk, Neon Arabesque consolidates the experience of disappearance. It shows the newborn identities rooted in the disappearances of cultural consciousness and voices through neoliberalism in different geographies, namely Gazino Maksim of Istanbul and East Berlin. “Neon Arabesque” trilogy melts sadness, euphoria, sense of nostalgia, melancholy, and rebel in the same pot via various sonic scapes.

Introducing Im Osten Geht Die Sonne Auf, the second full-length album release by the duo Recht Auf Rausch from Offenbach, Germany. This 12-track album features the captivating vocal stylings of Momo paired with Kalocain's masterful electronic production. Together, they create a cold and immersive environment that will leave you entranced from start to finish.

The album doesn’t follow homogenous guidelines nor conceptional requirements.
It’s a spontaneous expression of our moods facing obstacles of society.
Producing music to connect, grow, heal - a cathartic process.

While drinking tea and smoking cigarettes in our bedroom studio the procedure of making music starts with some sounds till we feel the direction of the song, and then we begin to implant the lyrics.
The fast flow defines our collaboration which feels mostly symbiotic and unforced. In this way, our creations become raw, honest and vulnerable.

The Berlangas - Part Of Me

WL//WH welcomes the return of the Biel, Switzerland-based Minimal Synth duo of Sadie La Chèvre and Nora Düster AKA Extra Bleu Ciel, to the blog with the premiere of “Spiders”, taken from the forthcoming 12-track album, “Hypersensible,” due on March 14, 2025, via the Meta Moto label run by @egzotikka

Imagine having a nightmare where a spider is trying to kill you, there is nowhere to hide, and no one can hear you scream. Then you awaken and are able to see the dark powers of the real world at play, such as seduction, greed, anger, and fear, and you realize that reality is far worse than the terrifying dream.

The song triggers thumping, stumbling drum kicks and tinny, clinical beats that thread their way into sonorous buzzing low-end undulations, eerie, achingly twisting synth motifs and insistent piano keys, droning and tinkling with plain desolation, to surround softly stunned and in disbelief vocal anxiety, and haunted back-ups, with surreal feelings of menace, helplessness, and doom laden sorrow.

Sadie La Chèvre and Nora Düster are Extra Bleu Ciel, a minimal synth band based in Biel, Swizerland. Extra Bleu Ciel is a bipolar borderline hyperactive teenager who likes to eat marshmallows at the cemetery.

Extra Blue Ciel cries with joy contemplating the flight of hysterical crows at sunset. Extra Blue Ciel loves joyful despair and finds joy hopeless.
Extra Bleu Ciel will always be 15 years old in 1981.

"Hypersensible" is the idiosyncratic trace left by individuals oscillating between nightmare reality and waking dream, sailing between naive euphoria and lucid disillusionment, trying to defy fatality and maintain hope, dancing in the pre-diluvian mud of a dying 21st century.
