I made a trio version of this flute duett.

Mesto Für Drei Saxophone

I am a curious creature
A spiral bound prisoner of sleepy lagoons
And when we meet in the future
I'll be a memory cast in the layers of stone
Of lava and silicon
Under the bladder wrack
Tentacles reaching in warm brackish pools
While rising land masses breed thunder and lightning
That rage as the turbulent world starts to cool

Riding saltwater currents in temperate seas
Underneath the foam and the mare's tails that dance in the breeze
The sparkle and shimmer of wide open skies
The embrace of sediment
Fossil Eyes
Yeah Fossil Eyes

I am an alien being
That drifts on mercurial currents of time
Until the eyes of a curious child
Fall bright on the shadows that I left behind
A life in transition, yeah
Literal, littoral.
Hiding in crevasses away from the sun.
The grinding of shingle banks
Guttural, guttural
Dies with the tide and our world is reborn

Ken sent Tez the drums for the track High Noon (with Entheogenic Psychonaut and TexMex Shaman) with the aim of building up a new track - a worthy challenge :))))
Tez did a touch of remixing of the drum track and added the guitars and bass before inviting J.J. to add the finishing touches with his keys adding a new sonic dimension.

Bad Noon Rising - when you wake up at noon you know something interesting has gone on the night before but if the sun rises at noon you know you're in serious trouble (or in the Arctic circle)

the orchestration is by guillaume pearson, guitar arrangement by naldo and the original song is by hitoshi yasui of chairhouse. it's been wonderful to work on these arrangements of chairhouse songs with my musical cloud friends guillaume and hitoshi over the last trying months of covid quarantine and separation. hope you can find some similar, perhaps temporary comfort from their beauty.
