a l e a is a Colombian singer-songwriter characterized by a folk-jazz sound that evokes the colors of Colombia and the cultural diversity of New York. This versatile artiste has given stunning performances in places like Worcester Mechanics Hall, Assembly Row - Berklee Summer in the City Series, Out of The Box, and the Latin America VIVE Music Festival. She has also shared the stage with well known and grammy-award nominated/winning artistes like Totó La Momposina, Gregorio Uribe, Pablo Mayor and Alex Alvear's Mango Blue.

The music is an homage to the Pet Sounds album. The lyrics are based on Jackie Kennedy's interview with Arthur Schlesinger from March 1964. This track was recorded onto analog tape at The Bunker studio in Brooklyn, NY in August - December 2016. Sissy Clemens is the featured vocalist.
