Surface of the Moon is a melodic anthemic upbeat rock song with straight-up production that echoes the sound of bands from the late 70s and early 90s.  

It has a universal feel, with punky vibes to get an audience revved up. It’s not one-dimensional or easy to pin down, and captures the feel of bands like Pearl Jam and early Arctic Monkeys.  

It's about frustration with selfish people who aren't aware of those around them. We'll be promoting it with a video and live show in London on 11 November

START OF AN END is our debut single.  It was written about relationships breaking down during the pandemic - the things that make you want to leave and the things that make you stay.  We wanted to reflect the light and shade in both the music and the lyrics.  Even though the verses are dark and heavy, we wanted the chorus to feel like an anthemic 80s party song.

The Burning Feathers are London's hottest new rock band - harking back to the alt-rock sounds we all know and love from our youth.

Formed during the pandemic, out of a frustration with the current state of music and their want to fill the void and do something different – to stand up, stand out and most importantly, make some noise - they took a no-frills approach, swiftly creating a full body of music that brings together banging sing-along choruses, songs of frustration, sorrow and the search for something better.
