So last week wasn’t such a flawless victory after all, because it turns out, properly managing our time on this show is not necessarily our strong suit. Give us a break though, we’re only human. It’s for the best though, because that meant this week we could dedicate our whole discussion to the new Mortal Kombat film, and that’s exactly what we did. Three mortals, two blondes, one ginger, one film, two beers, one super cute golden sweater. It’s an episode that only happens once in a generation.

Episode 421 - Two Servings Of Derry

We went to see our doctor recently, and she told us everything was looking good except our bones. She concerned that they seem quite brittle, so she told us to get more Derry in our diet. We said "that's weird, we've been watching every new episode". She seemed confused by that and replied "No I'm saying that you need to consume more Derry."  "Umm... yeah we get what you're saying. We know we're two episodes behind, but we'll get caught up."  Still more confusion. We're starting to wonder how she made it through medical school. "I'm trying to tell you that, with your history inactivity and over-indulgence, your bones are going to start turning to dust. You have to do the bare minimum, and simply consume more Derry." "Fine, we get it, Doc. We'll watch both episodes this week."  She asked us to leave. We don't know what her deal was, but by doctor's orders, we had a couple extra servings of Derry this week. 

EP421 - Two Servings  Of Derry

This week we take on a listeners movie title submission called.. “10 Red Tears in the Cage of the Salamander”.   Crazy name? You betcha and it's a pretty great story that we made up for complete with sound fx in the story!  The story is about a scientist who does experiments on Red Heads to grow back appendages on people but it goes horribly wrong.  Pretty awesome stuff.  We also jump into the news this past week and discuss about Ash Vs. Evil Dead and the Oscars.  Find out about all this on this weeks BTV episode. We hope you enjoy!

We are back with some movies about the infamous Boogey Man.  We decided to pick 2 separate films that deal with the same sort of concept.  Or.. in this case use the name.   We chose “The Boogey Man” from 1980 Directed by the late Ulli Lommel who was compared to Andy Warhol once and another film (unrelated) called “Boogeyman” from 2005.  Oh boy... were these special. BTV Ep102 The Boogey Man v. Boogeyman 8_6_18

We've been hitting older movies pretty hard lately so for a change of pace we dove into some horror films from the 2000's. Mainly in the PG-13 variety.  That's right we chose the remake of “Ringu” called “The Ring” (2002) that turned America onto a slew of J-Horror remakes.  We also take on a NON remake movie about an evil Dybbuk that tries to possess a girl called “The Unborn” (2009).  It's pretty fantastic what we discovered about these films. Did they hold up? Find out. Plus since “Jumby wants to be born now”... we made a  #horrorshot themed around the movie The Unborn.  Dive in! The water is filled with Samara.
