From 2002 and it sounds so fresh you'd think it was released yesterday. My favourite Global Underground mix and possibly the best mix ever. I rate this so highly. It sounds sooooo good on decent equipment. James Lavelle, take a bow.

025 - No other mix CD out has made me want to wake up to it as much as this one. Think slowly rising from a dream/hangover with the best sound possible and that's about it. Both discs on Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposure open with absolutely gorgeous tracks, Gus Gus's 'Believe' being an example of this. Furry Phreak's 'Soothe (Chicane Jazz)' dives deeper into the sound before the cd moves on to intelligent breaks, early trance and climaxes in what must be one of the most beautiful electronic tracks ever made... Hybrid's Symphony. This isn't just music you would wake up too, it's so good, you'd probably happily die to it as well. Another CD which raises the bar and takes it's own thrown on the Classic Mix CD series, and a fine choice for our quarter century episode. Turn it up... and enjoy the mix.

About the cd:
For this episode we showcase Global Undergound arising from the underground into the huge success that it was moving into it's teens. For their 14th release we are taken on a progressive tour of Hong Kong with John Digweed, an awesome CD which was much loved by man. Massive shout out to James Wilson of Newcastle for sorting this, and also out to Michael McDonough from Sunderland for his efforts too. Of whom Digweed was a massive inspiration for and are both still to this day, huge fans.

I'm sure they aren't the only ones. So as always, turn it up... and enjoy the mix.

Back to Mine: Nick Warren is a DJ mix album, the first in the Back to Mine series, compiled and mixed by Nick Warren. The mix focuses on downtempo tracks, with Allmusic calling it "a smart and non-confrontational mix safe from predawn noise complaints". CMJ New Music Report called it a "felicitous cocktail of psilocybin and mescaline". Iain Stewart, in The Rough Guide to Ibiza and Formentera, viewed Warren's mix as one of the best in the series.

The Zen parties in Orlando, FL in the early 90's demonstrated how massive the rave scene had become. Incredible DJ lineups, full live acts at massive fairground venues packed with rave kids made for special nights.  Some were lucky enough to keep the party going like this excellent after party DJ'd by none other than Sasha himself.  

A full 6 hrs of progressive, moody, loved up house in the early morning of labor day 1996. Over 60 tracks in all!
