220 - Jeremy Healy's Clockwork Orange Mix (2000)

In the 11th dimension where time meets math

Jerry Spinner  has almost two decades of DJ'ing experience, which started back in 1994 when he was asked to cover an unwell DJ at the rock club Sector 5 /Alcatraz in Leicester. Over the next seven years he went on to DJ at Pandora's Box, High Spirits & The Red Room, while also running club nights Bounce & Groove Machine.
In 2001 Jerry left Leicester and moved down the road to Coventry where he ran the successful club night club night Hillbilly. He also DJ'ed at the mighty Gods Kitchen at The Academy & Air in Birmingham, while also running the club night Sparkle in Moseley.
2005 saw Jerry leave the West Midlands and make his way up to the North East, where he played alongside X-Press 2 & Orbital at The Sage in Gateshead, for Cream at the Newcastle University, and at local clubs Tokyo, Camp David & Cosmic Ballroom.
In 2011 Jerry co-founded club night HomeSpun with good friend Andy Allwood, spinning all over the North East and securing a weekly residency at North Bar in Newcastle. A year later HomeSpun would get a weekly residency in Ibiza, only a few months after celebrating their first birthday. 
In 2012 he co-founded Sam Millar's Speakeasy in Leciester with life long friend Samantha Taylor Coleman, where he plays Electro-Swing & Funk. 
Jerry is now focused on pushing club night HomeSpun, and also Sam Millar's Speakeasy, with plenty of more gigs all over the UK in the pipeline

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.
