This CD was sent over a few years back I never got round to getting it onto the podcast, after the tributes flooding the internet today, from strangers and friend I thought I best fix that. RIP David Mancuso!

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.

Yoot Digme (formerly known as Cute) is Latvian deejay and promoter dedicating his spare time (outside of engineering job) to music and scene strengthening for 24 years officially.
This guy was responsible for bringing such acts to Riga, Latvia as: 813, Complexion, Mosca, Anushka (Brownswood), Nuage and Lokiboi.
Having played in some years 50+ gigs per year, guy got really tired of this (you know all those stories of exhausted touring artists).
Nowadays Yoot Digme runs 2manypromoters, composes mixtapes and playlists for broader audience, learns to play piano and produces Future Beats when there’s a right moment for it.

I also started to run the SoulJedi show with one of the best, or simply the best Latvian selectors. Watchable on YouTube.
