Our next artist is born in Medellín/Antioquia. Influenced from a young age by the great variety of all kinds of music in his city and his surroundings, he went in search step by step of the sound that he really liked. You can read that from what he expresses through his recordings, he has a great liking for ambient, deep and hypnotic techno. He has had mix invites for @iorecs and others.

Deepbass presents his 4th album Inward.
A deep trip showcasing a fresh take on his signature hypnotic techno sound.
Whether doused in the grit of his hometown Glasgow, or expanded by the widescreen vistas of his current base, Barcelona, the music of Darren Roberts has asserted its uniqueness within his preferred form of expression, rolling and tunneling techno, strong on propulsion and atmosphere. Naming the project Deepbass was a strong statement of intent and commitment to a sound of his own, from the start. That he has in fact established it and remains on a path of constant perfection of it, is indicative of Darren's personality and talent.

This consistent path has seen Deepbass put out records on labels such as Edit Select Records, Aconito Records, Dynamic Reflection and Soma, all the while enjoying a steady rise in recognition both with audience and peers. Along the way, he found in Italian producer Andrea Deplano, most widely known as Ness, a perfect foil for his vision of techno, with both collaborating on releases which displayed uncanny compatibility in sound between them. This commitment to the deeper, hypnotic side of techno is further proved by his own label, Informa Records, where releases by names like Reggy Van Oers, nAX_Acid, Claudio PRC, Takaaki Itoh, Ness, NX1, Hironori Takahashi are constant highlights for those who crave expansive and engrossing soundscapes.

What stands out from his production and performances is that Deepbass creates something identifiably his own, but refuses to ever be limited by it or to get comfortable repeating just one thing. Instead, he takes what´s already his own and streamlines it, sharpens it and nuances it. The origin and destination might be constant, but the path it takes and how the journey feels is ever-changing.

For this one we're really glad to introduce an astonishing french DJ & producer, Clarence Rise.

Over the years, he has developed a strong musical identity, intense and singular,  where incisive techno is mixed with icy atmospheres. 
His work could be described as Cinematic, Cold Techno, with a strong emphasis on complex rhythms, dark sound design and contemplative melancholy.

A set full of personality and a really original sound is what's on the table for this one, with a lot of diverse nuances built around a well  defined & crafted palette.

Originario de Berlín, Roseen es DJ y prolífico productor. Su viaje por el mundo de la música electrónica comenzó a principios de los noventa, y desde esos primeros días, ha estado hechizado
por los ritmos palpitantes del techno americano, particularmente el sonido que resuena en las calles de Detroit. Sin embargo, su brújula musical no señala simplemente a una ciudad, si no que es una fusión de Berlín, Nueva York, Birmingham y Brighton lo que da forma a su sonido.

Estas diversas influencias convergen en sus producciones y DJ sets, creando un tapiz sonoro único que desafía las convenciones.

Como productor, DJ, copropietario del sello y la mitad del enigmático dúo Ausgang, Roseen opera en las sombras, tallando silenciosamente su camino en el metro. Sus lanzamientos son un testimonio de lo crudo, la esencia de la música techno, un género que él cree que debería mantener su pureza. Hay una cierta ingenuidad intrínseca a su música, una pureza que emana de momentos espontáneos e incompletos, creando una vitalidad inconfundible.

Muchos intentan replicar este espíritu, pero pocos lo logran. Para Roseen, ese es el arte de hacer música. Es algo que, si escuchas de cerca, se puede discernir tanto en sus producciones como en sus fascinantes sesiones de DJ.
