Los Angeles-based producer & DJ Rebel Boy provides this week's 6AM Guest Mix full of great tracks from techno favorites such as Brennen Grey, Sian, and Layton Giordani plus original tracks and IDs. Even though Rebel Boy, real name Johnny Yono, currently lives in LA, he was born and bred in Detroit. As a former trance producer originally from the birthplace of techno, Rebel Boy has all the makings to provide listeners with a classic techno sound.

Blending massive, unrelenting energy with deep and mystifying atmospherics, Rebel Boy quickly gained the attention of Frankyeffe at Riot Recordings. Included with his debut EP release was the breakout bomb, 'Cerebral Mass' which immediately caught the attention of the techno community amassing major support from industry giants such as UMEK, Spektre, Veerus, OC & Verde and Brennen Grey to name a few. Nearing the end of 2020, he re-emerged on Riot unleashing the mighty 'Fireheart' EP which placed him in the Top 5 on Beatport's Techno chart further establishing himself as a force in which to be reckoned.

Following the 'Fireheart EP' came collaborations with both Frankyeffe and Spanish dance heavyweights, The YellowHeads landing him on Oliver Huntemann's legendary Senso Sounds label with 'Adrenaline Machine.' With unparalleled dedication to quality and many exciting projects on the horizon, Rebel Boy is becoming one of Techno's most celebrated new talents and certainly one to keep on your radar. Claudio PRC is an Italian deep techno specialist who takes cues from avant-garde and ambient music as well as the abyssal echoes of early hypnotic acid and dub. Heʼs been active as a DJ and producer since 2006 and released his records mainly on Prologue Music, Semantica Records, and TGP, of which he is a co-founder. Since 2018 Claudio is a resident DJ in one of Pragueʼs most valued clubs, Ankali, where he curates the Volumi Dinamici night. In 2020 he founded 012, a new platform dedicated to art and sound research.

Piero Gigante aka Zigler, born in Bari, Puglia, is an Italian techno DJ and producer class '90. His passion for music began when he was young, thanks to the approach of some musical instruments. 

After many years of studies, he decided to live in Belgium to have a different perspective of the Italian electronic scene, so he starts to attend some important clubs / parties in Brussels, Antwerp and Amsterdam, which further enrich his cultural background. 

So far he has worked and is part of the roster of labels around the globe such as EXP Records, Hxagrm Records, Darkforest, Vnderstand , Ways To Die Records and Business Class Records.

Bart Takuski (Lowki), a Poland born but now native Chicagoan, is a DJ with his roots firmly connected with the underground sounds of the city. Lowki got his humble start as a resident DJ with local promoters House of Chi, playing opening sets laced with deep cuts inspired heavily by the likes of Mark Farina, Martin Dawson, and Omar S at some of the cities most iconic venues. Most notably opening up for such artists as Dennis Ferrer, Subb-An, Robert Hood, and George Fitzgerald. Nowadays, Lowki has one foot in the realm of booking underground events with his close friends under Obscure, focusing on invigorating the local underground scene, with another foot diving deep into the sounds of deep and dub-techno.

For this new episode of our codecast selections, we'd like to give a warm welcome to Chuha.

Chuha hails from the south of Munich and has been on a journey of musical exploration since 1998. He kicked off his career as a DJ in 2004 playing at countless gigs in and around Europe and India. His initial years in the Psytrance genre lead him to his love for deep, hypnotic, subtle and euphoric nuances of Techno. He is also the founder of Fur:ther Sessions pushing boundaries of Techno supporting local and international artists. Chuha is also a resident of the Netzwerk rooster from Munich.
He's also one of the founders of the Fur:ther sessions collective.
