‘Conscious Listening’ is a new podcast series by Pregnant Void record label that explores soundscapes born from the connection between deep ethereal music and the most advanced electronic musical experiments. This month’s Podcast chapter comes from label’s head Simone Gatto that mixes a selection of evocative sound journeys inducing gentle waves of awareness and meditative states.

Hydrous is Per Christian Berg. A producer and a DJ based in Oslo, Norway. Working within music as a sound technician as well as having a number of projects across a wide range of styles and expressions, ranging from ambient and psychedelic rock to psy-chill and techno. With his project Hydrous the focus and style is rooted in the hypnotic, psychedelic and atmospheric side of techno. Drawing a big part of his inspiration from nature, especially the Nordic scenery as well as meditative states, bringing these threads of inspiration throughout his productions as well as DJ sets.

CODECAST X - Vanoni - Liminal Depth

Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝖑𝖑𝖑 : Atomic Moog, Lowless / Monument.

This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Atomic Moog is a French duo formed in 2015 by two cousins Cédric André-Jean and Charles Lecca. Influenced by artists such as Plastikman, Daniel Avery, Acronym or Mike Parker and the prologue label, their productions are both cold and haunting, a perfect mix aimed at club culture and for a sophisticated audience.
Each of their productions is built around their machines, guiding them towards the creation of a sound ambiance, on which percussive and electric grooves are superposed. Adepts of improvisation, each of their live appearance is unique, yet a perfectly identifiable performance.

The sound of John Plaza is mostly characterized by percussion, continuous atmospheres and breakbeat rhythms. His productions have been released on labels such as The Gods Planet, Fur:ther Sessions and Circular Limited. With output on platforms like Monument and the Memoir series by Hypnus Records, he is no stranger to the deeper side of  techno.
Next to being a DJ and producer, he is also label owner of Linderluft_records.

With this set John Plaza showcases a diverse sound creating dynamics throughout his set which will keep you hooked. Percussion infused techno mixed with hypno beats will take you on a ride which gives you an insight on his approach to electronic music. With this set he created a lively atmosphere and the further you get into this set the deeper you will get drawn into it. Whether you want to get lost into your thoughts or you want to be active, this set will give you what you need.

Jabrane made his mark with deep end spectrum of sounds around 3 years back. Farazdeck is his project focusing on the exploration of deep, hypnotic and organic music. This artistic project gets inspiration from our surroundings, its understanding from exploration of nature, rituals, psychology, spirituality, science and even space. There is a certain mystery about the existence of this project, to such an extent that divulging more could spoil the fun. We hope you enjoy the cryptic, aural world of Farazdeck.
