Hello, and thanks for visiting.  I'm that bloke in the picture drinking Guinness, as one does. I live on the wild and windy coast of North East England.

Generally I play old songs: folk, blues, jazz and Old Time.  I occasionally write my own, adopting a wider variety of musical styles that I cannot really account for. And sometimes I just record modern songs that take my fancy.

I love any kind of story you care to tell, and especially if it is bound up in a weird, funny or sad song.
