The Darsh Sessions returns for 2023 ready to fill your dance floor grocery cart with a steady selection of freshly baked afro beats and horn-filled house treats. No canned goods here, baby! Recorded during a January twitch stream, this month's set begins by exploring the aisles of this new year's most recent afro house offerings before shifting gears to a more uptempo housey feel, highlighted by a number of bonafide staples, including a tribute to the late Maxi Jazz, lead singer and founding member of the legendary dance-band Faithless, who recently passed away at the end of 2022. We stock all genres here at The Darsh Sessions and Faithless is no exception. They say you shouldn't shop for food on an empty stomach, but I have to disagree.
