Il est un des compositeurs de la période romantique. Il est surtout connu pour ses opéras, dont le très populaire Carmen, et ses suites orchestrales, créés sur une courte période, puisqu'il meurt prématurément à l'âge de 36 ans.

Gortoz a ran (« J'attends ») est un chant poétique écrit et interprété par le chanteur breton Denez Prigent, issu de son troisième album studio Irvi, paru en 2000. Sorti en single, le chant en breton, enregistré en duo avec Lisa Gerrard, séduit un large public. En 2001, Gortoz a Ran est intégrée dans la bande originale du film américain La Chute du faucon noir de Ridley Scott, en 2012 dans le film Les Seigneurs d'Olivier Dahan, en 2016 dans la série américaine South Park et en 2020 dans la série américaine Hawaï 5.0.

Leftfield is a British electronic music group formed in 1989 in London, England. The group initially consisted of Paul Daley and Neil Barnes, before Daley left in 2002, leading to the group's dissolution, and then his return with Barnes as the sole leader in 2010.


They were among the first to fuse house with dub and reggae, thus giving birth to progressive house. They were pioneers in integrating vocals into electronic music.


In 1995, their album Leftism managed to reach the third place in the UK sales chart. In 1999, the album Rhythm And Stealth reached the top of the English charts.

DESCRIPTION (French)

Le projet PSYCHOGUN n’est pas qu’un simple vinyle, c’est un objet complet prenant sa source dans les mangas des années 80 et aboutissant à une association de 3 titres audio ainsi qu’une couverture illustrée. Couverture réalisée en collaboration avec un illustrateur parisien, représentant un savoureux mélange de Cobra et de Snake Plissken, le tout, sous les traits de Sophonic.

Sur la Face A, l’artiste « Sophonic » a réalisé 2 versions remixes du titre « Shi no köshin » de l’artiste Japonais « Kentaro Haneda ». Titre phare de la BO du dessin animé Cobra Space Adventure, ce titre fait référence à la fameuse marche funèbre (Shi no köshin) souvent jouée dans les moments dramatiques de la série.

Sur la Face B, « @TheEternals », groupe emblématique Français du début de la French Touch, interprète un titre à la mémoire du personnage « Snake Plissken », héros du  lm « New York 1997 » réalisé par John Carpenter en 1981.
