Musician & songwriter driven just by passion for songwriting and singing. I am releasing "SoundCloud first" but some selected songs are also on https://potbarley.bandcamp.com or Spotify etc, sometimes in older versions though.
Since spring 2023 I have been writing and recording mainly as a "one man band", using acoustic & electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, an old piano, conga, etc. and a voice.
Former member of German bands: In Rags (with Sami Yli-Sirniö and Roman Keymer), Sharkpool and Dutch bands Garbitsjkeng, The Wit, Trio van Putten and and a few others. I baptized my Alter Ego and named him "Pot Barley".

A therapeutic journey into a mix of jazz, classical, and a blend of types of electronica.  And a wry, gradual observation that promotion tends to only go as far as you push it.  At least I make my fellow musicians laugh a little.

 Gavidann, is a recording artist and music producer from Toronto, ON. Canada. He is the main producer and sound engineer for House 6 Music, he makes the beats and does all the composing and mixing of the tracks. In 2012, He purchased an old laptop from a friend and downloaded the DAW, FL Studios. He then proceeded to teach himself how to make beats, that was the same year he started writing music as a way to save his beats because at the time, GynxDon was the only one voicing over his beats. He never in any way had any dreams of becoming a rapper but he realized that even though he only started rapping to save his beats, he was very good at it and with the encouragement of his close friends, he continued to write and rap over his beats. His goal is to be a great musical producer like Mike Will and Mike Dean, metro boomin and many other amazing producers who are highly recognized in the music industry. After recording his first song produced by himself featuring GynxDon, Gavidann set out to become a producer, professional Hip Hop Artist and performer . Natural ability will only take a talented artist so far, but a strong will and determination has helped to push him forward and continues to drive his development and success. These songs are led by the lyrics and are a mix of folk, country and blues.
Inspired by a diverse range of music from Leonard Cohen to Jason Isbell, Noel's songs took years to find their voice.Noel was born in Ireland and currently lives there but spent many years living and working in Africa. Much of his inspiration has been drawn from his own life experiences including his more recent journey with cancer. ‘Stars in Heaven’ is one of a number of songs dealing with cancer.  This particular song was chosen by Music Beats Cancer after submissions by over 800 other artists.
Noel says “ I really hope that the songs can reach a much bigger audience. I also hope that the songs can help, even in some small way, in connecting with people and in raising awareness and support for the issues they address."
