Flashback Fridays - Purple Disco Machine - Live at Weekender May 6, 2017

Released in 1980 on Salsoul Records (CAT# SALT-6) it was written and produced by Dan Hartman and mixed by Tom Moulton (originator of the 12 inch vinyl format.
My edit uses the 1983 release on Salsoul Records (CAT# SG 415 DJ) which was remixed by the legend, Shep Pettibone. The 12 inch also included the infamous acappella which was sampled worldwide by a plethora of producers at the advent of House Music, including those fantastic piano anthems by the Italians.
