We're delighted to share with you the absolute masterclass of a mix by the one and only Chris Wheatley. This mix has been a personal favourite of ours as it includes an arsenal of rare disco and funk blended perfectly into 70 minuets of pure groove.

Based in Bournemouth UK, Chris has been a DJ, and collecting records for 30 years, he's a resident at Bump n Hustle in the UK, and makes regular appearances at Spiritland and Up on the Roof in London. Chris has performed DJ sets all over the world and supported the likes of Dave Lee, Kenny Dope, Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco, Craig Charles, Dimitri from Paris, Nightmares on Wax and Roy Ayers. In 2023, Chris featured on the festival line-up for Love Supreme with Mr Bongo, and We Out Here.

To help feed his addiction to Vinyl, he's also a Record Dealer and can be found buying and selling at record fairs, in addition to his eBay and Discogs online store under the name 'Funkymusak'.

One of The Disco Express resident DJs, SUGARLOAF is a selector and aspiring producer from South London.

With a following of over 140k across social media and 1.2 million likes on TikTok, SUGARLOAF’s refreshing sound has seen her support LF System and Jungle at Rise Festival, and play internationally respected venues in Paris, Berlin, Trondheim, Zurich, Ibiza and London.

Regarded as one of London’s “leading disco labels”, The Disco Express first began as a monthly loft party in March 2017; hosting the globe’s biggest house & disco DJs at the former 1940's Shoreditch railway station.
