Sylvia Rivera (1951–2002) was a pioneering Puerto Rican–Venezuelan American transgender activist who fought for the rights of the most marginalized in the queer community—especially trans people, drag queens, sex workers, and homeless LGBTQ+ youth. Present at the 1969 Stonewall uprising, she co-founded the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (STAR) with Marsha P. Johnson, providing shelter and advocacy for queer youth. Rivera challenged mainstream gay rights groups to include trans people in their agendas, making her a crucial voice in pushing the queer civil rights movement toward true inclusivity.

Their latest album “Destinations” (on Permanent Vacation) is their fourth studio album. The pair are committed to a laudable task: making California into an outpost of the Balearic islands – endless summer, guaranteed! Their music combines the classic West Coast sound with a twist of dark disco and a twilight vibe. This exclusive track is something of a disco odyssey! Close your eyes and “Seeds” will recreate the warm glow of a Los Angeles sunset, backed by the distant rhythm of the Pacific. A deep, rolling Moog bassline drives the journey forward, steady and hypnotic like the open highway. Lush horns rise and fall like the city’s hills, while shimmering synthesizers paint neon streaks across the sky, capturing the euphoric feeling of returning home. Moi Je, en realité, is the Lyon-based L. De Lassablière. He is finally back with a new EP – ’Reviens’ – that’s more disco and funk than ever. He and a select bunch of close collaborators have crafted this new release with the act of dancing firmly in their sights. The essence of the Moi Je project is still there, with its French electronic influences blended with the warmth of Italian summer sunburns. It’s a signature, poetic sound that has evolved over years of experimentation and practice, now here in glorious high-fidelity. There’s a playfulness too, with lyrics and music combining in fresh new ways. His biggest success so far is his beautiful, warm, disco-ified remix of “On You” from 2016 for fellow Frenchman Kazy Lambist, which earned him a gold disc! The track hasn’t left our USB DJ stick since its release, and is guaranteed to get every sophisticated dance floor moving. (released on Delicieuse Musique Records)

Making waves in the independent music scene, Montreal-based artist Nicholas Cangiano has been deftly blending soul, funk, electronics and rock into a sound uniquely his own, producing a kind of dusty new pop. Flexing his range and unorthodox writing style, Cangiano has just released his much anticipated album “Have You Heard”, building on the momentum gained in the Montreal music scene over the past two years. He has received the Jurley Sound Recording grant from FACTOR Canada. Indie Shuffle praised him “NC’s ability to enter the flow state cuts through a world of straight lines and rules to produce a sound that's been honed to near perfection”. For us, ‘Falling Behind’ has never left our DJ sets and ears since it was released in 2023. What a tune!

Seamlessly weaving lyrics of stunning sensuality, wit, reflection and literary eloquence over music that tastefully utilizes top shelf shadings of jazz, soul, pop, chamber and music from around the globe. His music was covered by countless international stars, like The Carpenters, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Star, Natalie Cole, a.m.m. . The Reworkers:

FLYING MOJITO BROS: 
are two Desert Disco and Outlaw House DJs pioneering the great electronic wilder-ness.
With boots firmly planted in dusty 70s sunsets, their productions take cosmic country funk and classic rock to dancefloors via modern disco and baggy acid house on a bed of hefty contemporary rhythms.

JACK TENNIS: 
Berlin producer Jack Tennis is the mastermind behind a lot of projects. He releases his own music under the name Hotlane (signed to Gomma Records) and spreads his Disco-Edits for UK’s influential Disco Label Midnight Riot (run by Yam Who!), Spa In Disco and Too SLow To Disco. He has an edit on every TSTD YACHT DISCO EDITS compiatlion so far, he was already part of TSTD EDITS 2 – Brasil with an edit, and last year he remixed SATIN JACKETS for TSTD NEO’s “The Sunset Manifesto” - compilation. The 4 tracks on this compilation are regular floor fillers in DJ Supermarkt’s DJ Sets, so it was time to give them a proper vinyl release. Lots more to come!

MONSIEUR VAN PRATT: 
founder of Super Spicy Records, is a prominent producer and DJ originally from Mexico City, whose influence on electronic music is widely recognized both nationally and internationally. With an impressive career that includes more than 100 releases in digital format and 26 on vinyl, which consolidate him as a key figure in the genre.

UYSR029 is the closing chapter of Remixes for Satori´s longplayer. Crussen from Norway kicks of with a pretty down beat mix of "Days Without You" which is pure fun for the morning hours. Amsterdam based Olaf Stuut instead did a driving mix of "The Wishing Spell" crossing borders between Techno and Electronica. Hraach from Spain put big emotions into his "Bad Looking Trouble" Remix - deep House with sensual strings. Last Mix is from Underyourskin Resident Thomas Atzmann who gave a very new danceable attitud to "The Greatest Against The World".
