A little glimpse into the regular night in Wolverhampton, born out of the weekly Quest night as 92/93 rave music turned into jungle in 94/95. 

I've taken some of my faves played at Amazon during the amazing 94/95 era and tried to stay away from anthems and concentrate instead on the music played by Bukem, Fabio, LTJ Bukem, Simon Bassline Smith and more. Hope you enjoy!

Part 1 of my tribute to the legend DJ Hazard, warming up for '25 Years Of Hazard' at Lab11 Birmingham on 22nd December!

For this part 1 I look at the early Hazard music, from his first release on Back 2 Basics sub label 'Promo Recordings' to his tracks on Pugwash's label 'Liquid' and first release on his own label 'Radius' as well as his early 'Playaz' work.

In 2000/2001 I was a regular at the record shop Hazard worked at (Music First) and I would spend hours in there listening to and buying records. My first ever proper gig was on a boat party in Worcester in 1998, headlined by...DJ Hazard! It has been amazing to watch this 0121 legend go from boat parties in Worcester and Kool FM Midlands to worldwide superstar, truly one of the greatest DJs and producers in D&B.
