My look at the music played at Helter Skelter in its final year comes to an end with a huge 2 hour dive into the trance and techno played in the legendary Technodrome. I was lucky enough to go to 2 Skelter events in 99 and they were absolutely rammed, 17 year old me jumping from arena to arena!

Here's some of my favourite tracks played in the Technodrome by Mark EG, M Zone, Scorpio, The DJ Producer, Jay Prescott and more. I hope you enjoy my Skelter series, I had a lot of fun going back in time and looking at tracklists and sorting through my records!

My HUGE 2 hour look at the happy hardcore played at Helter Skelter in 1995! I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy mixing this as 95 was not my favourite year at all but when I went through my tracklists and then my records I realised I'd subconsciously bought pretty much everything played in 95 at Skelter!

I had so much fun mixing this, what a special time where the breakbeats faded away and the kickdrum became stronger and more prominent and the basslines became stabs and claps with huge influences from European music. You'll either love or hate this style but I'd like to think I chose the right tunes, all tracks played at Skelter! I hope you enjoy listening...

My final look at the mighty Technodrome at Helter Skelter with a massive delve into the various hardcore techno styles played in 1995!

95 was the year of BOUNCY techno and gabber so I've tried to encorporate some of my favourite bouncy tunes played at Skelter during this time, huge shout to Scorpio, Brisk, Druid, Lomas and The DJ Producer for the inspiration.

Over lockdown I must have listened to every Helter Skelter set ever recorded! I did a series of mixes celebrating 1996 to 1999 but then I went back and listened to the 17th Sep 93 tapes and realised I had so many tunes from these sets. 

I decided to put a set together of JUST tunes from the tapes, there's so much variety whether it was the pianos from the Slipmatt set, the darkness from the Randall set or the weirdness from The Music Maker set...93 was such an exciting year. I hope you enjoy my tribute to this crazy year where the light and the dark clashed and hardcore jungle techno reigned supreme...
