A sound on the topics of irrational thought. Lyrically the guides the listener though a situation of autopiloting; being on the edge of reason and confronting your demons "looking off over the edge". When confronted not "knowing how far or long". 
A song that hopefully will invoke thought as well as feet movement on the dance floor.

Melbourne, Australia based composer of Electronic Soundscapes

Inspired & Influenced by German/French/British  Electronic music pioneers of the late 1960's through to the late 1970's. 

My primary focus is to bring this style of electronic music back to the  Melbourne live music scene. I am also keen  collaborate with other artists producing music in the same vein.

<<FACULTY>>  are a  Melbourne based new wave / post punk band playing original music reflecting the members personal and collective tastes. With song themes exploring the dynamics of relationships, love and society. The band consists of Kim(vox and guitar), Nick(bass), Anne(vox), Stu(keys), Bill(drums).

You may have seen me busking around Melbourne on a square of grass. I play originals.

The Failed States is a creative project based in an aged care facility in the leafy suburb of Wantirna, Melbourne Australia. 

Initially a recreational outlet, allowing residents to express themselves through music, poetry and napping, The Failed States has since taken on a life of it own. 

Anguished songs about other residents' grandchildren being too loud at the table tennis table, or laments of lukewarm, semi-set pudding were gradually replaced by powerful pieces about climate change, urban decay, relationship breakdown and stolen dentures.

There are no permanent members of The Failed States, we live on, as age, petty rivalries, and forgetfulness takes us all.

The Failed States tries to perform in the common room on the second Tuesday of every month, after lunch.
