The music reflects the growing tension, the ever-present threat, and the agonizing choices forced upon those seeking refuge. You will sense in the music the desperation of many refugees, but also their determination to survive.

The journey culminates in the boarding of the "Lappland," a vessel overflowing with refugees, all carrying their own stories of loss and hope.
