Sea of Green plays an eclectic mix of Jazz inspired music. We like to call it Party Jazz. We are heavily influenced by Gypsy Swing, Rockabilly and even throw in the odd Funk and Afro. Key word that describe our vibe: happy, fun, unique, accessible for all ages and people who enjoy different genres can appreciate our style.

The band has performed at venues like: Klitsgras Drumming, Rumours Rock Lounge, Barnyard Parkview (Opening for Arno Carstens), Oppikoppi 2013 Blind Tiger Sessions for Arno Carstens, Arcade Empire, Railways, Cafe Barcelona, Tings n Times, Route 66, JHB Civic Theatre, Royal Alexandra Theatre (48 Hour Film festival award ceremony), Firkin, Randlords and more....

Go the Rodeo is an idea not bound by a certain sound, or specific genre. We aim to express our emotions, frustrations and passion through music, and share this with the world. We’re not trying to entertain or compete, but rather connect, and create a vibe that brings you closer to yourself and others.  
In 2018 we’ll be joining Jampacked Productions together with multiple South African and international bands in an effort to raise R1 million for the Rocking for Rhinos foundation. This gives us and you an opportunity to be a part of something bigger, and all you have to do is to come and enjoy a show or two :)

ZÉ (Pronounced: Zey) is a creative being, Songbird, Wordsmith, an Information Designer as well as a Recording and Performing Artist.

She’s inspired by powerful vocalists and songwriters such as Florence Welch, Sia, Nina Simone, Robert Plant, Joni Mitchell and Benjamin Clementine to name but a few. 

Her music ranges from minimalistic acoustic sounds to film-esque layered soundscapes. She strives to create emotive, meaningful music allowing escapism and adding a little bit of beauty to the world.

I started Djing back in 2000 and have played many clubs and festivals around Johannesburg, South Africa....now based in London.

My very first demo mix series was called Progression Sessions, its what i used to promote myself, so i decided in 2016 to give it a refresh and to start a podcast series that i hope to turn into a regular monthly podcast with guest mixes from all the great talent i've had the privilege to meet and play with over the years.
