ARTIST NOTE: I’m one of those people who has developed a high tolerance for uncertainty, instability I endured in childhood, and because of it, I learned with courage and loving support to harness uncertainty into inspiration, a drive to create.

For me, the unknown is an invitation, as if life has offered me blank canvases upon which to paint. Or a keyboard and computer upon which to express sounds that I hear in my head and heart. That for me, is a Benevolent Enigma, the awesome mystery of why and how something springs forth from what seems like nothing — how beauty emerges out of a barren void  like a rose growing out of a concrete sidewalk.

This is the first in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short and inconclusive tracks, which I’ve assembled by working on new and reworking on some old material adding parts and sounds. 
Will anything actually happen in the end? Unlikely. Definitely not here. Here it’s a montage of bare arpeggios in various keys.
I recorded this some weeks ago: sorry about the guitar sound, the string squeak is a bit too much; now, I hope to have fixed that investing in a better and more expensive set of strings.

The Last Battle is the final piece in the Middle-Earth inspired Hidden World trilogy. It is the culmination in the series of events musically narrated throughout the trilogy. It is also the turning point from dusk to dawn, as it were, as the sun rising and bringing a new and brighter day. There were inspirations, emotions, and visualizations that went into composing this piece. Thank you for listening.
