This song began its life sometime last November, when Artur composed it on his electric guitar and shared it with us. Those of you who follow along might remember a song of nearly the same title on our pages back in December. That was the electric, instrumental version. This version was the brainchild of Artur when we were working on the first one, as he felt he wanted an electrified, instrumental version as well as an acoustic-ish version featuring Carl's vocal talent. 
  JJ was the first to grab onto this one, adding both his majestic organ and nimble electric piano to the song. Ken stood up next, charmingly drumming his way to creating the basis of the groove. Josh was came in right after Ken, adding both a plucked and a bowed upright bass part. In the end, he chose the bowed one because of its unusual sound. Now that the rhythm section was complete, Tez jumped in with his thrilling electric guitar solo work. When it was almost in the bag, we turned it over to Carl, who came through with his always dynamic vocals, singing his original lyrics. Chris also popped his head in here with the trippy synth you hear at the beginning of the song. To wrap things up, Josh also added the mandolin in the last section. 
  This is just the latest of the better part of a dozen songs we've now done with our musical brother, Artur, who's musicianship and composition skills we all admire. His page is loaded with great neuvo-surf music, and is worth checking out, too. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Surf  Vibe (Eclectic Collective)

This is a fierce track influenced by Rage Against The Machine. The combination of sludge-like heavy guitars, a metallic bass, and relentless drumming creates a thrilling sense of tension, topped off by raw, visceral vocals.

The song has an impulsive, punk-infused energy that rouses the listener, feeling like a true revolutionary anthem. I created this song entirely alone at my home in March 2026, handling all aspects of the production myself. I feel this is a protest song against a world dominated by violence and war, and I felt a sense of urgency to release this message now.

The track was recorded using a minimalist setup: a vocal mic, electric guitar, bass, and PC, with programmed drums. The lyric video  is also available on THE BOY's official YouTube channel.

Yet beyond the fear, there is something stronger: curiosity, determination, and the quiet belief that every step forward brings you closer to something greater. “Steps Through The Dark” tells the story of moving through doubt and mystery, guided only by instinct, courage, and the will to reach the unseen destination.
