Welcome to this very special Word Is Love show where we celebrate some of the finest Dance music that played on the Hacienda Dancefloor in Manchester, U.K. throughout the late 80's and into the 90's.
 
There's music by Todd Terry, David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Graeme Park, K-Klass, Inner City, A Guy Called Gerald and Derrick May plus many more absolute bangers you may recognise; it's a show full of instantly recognisable 80's and 90's House and Garage classics.

This first part of the Word Is Love show special covers the most well known classic tracks that defined a Generation and concentrates on the hugely popular 'Nude' nights done by Mike Pickering and Graeme Park on Friday nights throughout the late 80's and early 90's.
