It was one of the most fun creations of the line up. Bringing back the real OG Vander, from his Dominican dominion. Nothing felt as authentic as our family reconnecting with an artist they know as family. 

The set was sexy, steamy and on point. Closing a perfect day in a perfect way.

What an honor and true pleasure it was to play at my dear friends’ Blue Caterpillar camp at Burning Man 2025.
The energy was magical, the setting filled with warmth, art, and the closest of friends. Moments like these remind me why music connects us so deeply.

This is my very first set from the Playa this year, and I’m grateful to finally share it with you.

PAULLO | Burning man 2025 | Blue Caterpillar camp

This was my 9th time at the helm for the Man Burn—a tradition I’ve carried every year since my very first burn. To be honest, I was completely exhausted—emotionally, physically, and mentally. As it always does, the music and the people brought me back to life. And in that sea of feelings, I poured everything the burn had taught me into this set.

This year, I chose to play pieces from every era of my journey as a DJ. It felt right to share nostalgic, meaningful songs that aligned with the theme Tomorrow Today. Tracks about time, love, and connection—songs meant to create a living memory for all of us gathered in that sacred evening.

The mix was fully improvised, guided only by what the moment whispered for me to play. I can only hope it became something we will all carry within us—a reminder etched in rhythm and dust.

We are proud to call VANDER family for almost a decade now. From being part of our core team, to rising talent, to rockstar DJ closing sets at The Monastery and beyond.

When his roots called him back home to the Dominican Republic, we always knew he’d return one day, one way or another. And so he did.

On Saturday, July 19, VANDER closed the Sandstage with such sass and glory, it felt as if this super talent had never left. Once family, always family.

Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.

After some time as a free agent, Christian’s sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he has entranced audiences with thoughtful, layered DJ sets. In 2021 he became a resident of Beachouse in Ibiza, where he provides the soundtrack for sunny days on Playa D’en Bossa. He has also recently joined the All Day I Dream roster, having contributed multiple videos to the All Day I Stream series, as well as being booked to play All Day I Dream events at Space Nightclub in Miami, Cova Santa in Ibiza, and the All Day I Dream festival in California.

His music blends a focus on the low end frequencies with a melodic, sometimes melancholic touch. The end result is just as suited to a nightclub dancefloor as a desert sunset, with enough versatility for everything in between.

Christian now manages the Bespoke Musik record label, as well as helping run the brand with the founder, Rocky Ramniceanu. The second release on the label was his collaborative ep with German All Day I Dream artist Powel, and marks his first foray into the music production field. The two met whilst sharing a lineup in Brooklyn, which marked the start of their musical partnership, as well as his first event as a Bespoke Musik resident.

Some of his notable bookings include Gazgolder and Leveldva in Moscow, Café D’ Anvers in Antwerp, Sisyphos in Berlin, Output and Cityfox in Brooklyn, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, Space and The Electric Pickle in Miami, Beachouse and Cova Santa in Ibiza, and Robot Heart, the 747, Miki Beach and Pink Mammoth at Burning Man.

"Positivity, tolerance and love are in short supply right now. When Amy sang this song, she was going through a really tough time. The creation of this song was a therapeutic process.  It has served that purpose several times. The first time we performed it live, during a Pride-related event, unbeknownst to us, the Orlando nightclub massacre was taking place across the country. The next day I thought about that moment and listened back to the song and wondered where to find hope. 

This song was supposed to come out several months from now but Eli [from Soul Clap] contacted me on Wednesday morning and we agreed, we need to share our therapy with you sooner, rather than later. Call it futurestep. Call it deepstep. Call it autonomic. Call it whatever you wish, but one thing is for sure – Hidden Element hailing straight from Kiev, Ukraine fail to make their music disappoint. With a fresh take on electronic sounds ranging from breathtaking beatless layers to +/- 170 BPM heavy hitters, these two have been making waves in the industry for some time already, releasing on 22:22, Alphacut, Med School, Pinecone Moonshine and Translation – to name a few. But it is Absys Records that is the home for their full-length album entitled “Together”. The release is a collection of 13 amazing pieces of work, each hitting a slightly different tone, but making a wonderfully coherent whole.
 
An entity that is enjoyed best when all of its components are played together, as the title suggests. The album focuses in majority on a rather home-listening experience, with tracks like “Aura” or “The Night” setting the pace for a pleasant evening chill and boosting the laid-back mood even furth er with “Quite Place” or “Without You” - both infused with lovely vocals – that can serve well as modern-day lullabies. But there are als o more lively accents (“Long Way Home”, “Who Knows”), traces of live instr umentation (“The Next Day”), or ambient (“Bridge”). All in all, you get a fantastic cross-section of contemporary electronic music, a masterfully composed package of nothing but pure listening pleasure.
