"When I first heard Korgi´s original, I was completely captivated by the simple, yet incredibly powerful lyrics. My friend Alejandro Obregon and I used to jam it together on our guitars and sing our souls out. 


This March a very close friend of mine passed away and in my grief, I listened to a playlist he created on Spotify. I was on my bike, the sun was shining and I pressed play. Suddenly I realized that beauty is constantly present, we just have to look around. Even in death, even in loss, even in grief there is beauty. We just have to change our heart. It might seem incomprehensible at first, but if we learn to be the ocean and not the wave, we will always see life for what it is. 

My take on this song takes the emotionality out a bit and opens it up for the dancefloor.
