Over the past few years, Leeds-based producer and DJ Oscar Jones has been in the studio developing and refining his sound, blending influences from the Romanian and UK minimal scenes which can be heard in his latest releases with Tranquil, Duboka and Below Records. Oscar has also proven himself to be a competent DJ and avid digger, bringing his unique selections of stripped-back rolling minimal to support the likes of Traumer, Jasper James and Laidlaw.

The Mekanism is a Parisian producer with serious House roots. Releasing on labels such as Moan Recordings, hedZup Records, Whippin’ Records, and 20/20 Vision not to mention countless remixes, has lead him to take his sound all over the globe and establish himself as a resident at legendary parties in Ibiza.

His lauded release on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It 'Acid Love' in the summer of 2015 started a love affair with the label that culminated in the release of his debut mini LP ‘Breath’ in 2017.

Entertaining fans is something that comes completely naturally and he’s performed at some of electronic music’s iconic arenas and playgrounds, such as BPM Festival, Ushuaia Ibiza, Rex Club Paris, Burning Man, or Hï Ibiza. A highly lauded producer, especially by his peers, he has had an incredibly productive last 12 months with releases on Too Many Rules, Moan Recordings, Robsoul Recordings and Jonk Records to name just a few.

An excellent artist with even more still left to come there is no doubt.

Based in Barcelona, Pedro Capelossi is a growing name in the Deep & Progressive House scene worldwide.

As a Producer Pedro's tracks were released on important specialized labels such as Seven Villas, Sound Avenue, TOR (When We Dip XYZ), Dream Culture, The Purr, Yin Yang, Particles, Modern Agenda, RYNTH, and many more.

Pedro's tracks have counted on support from recognizable names such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Pablo Bolívar, Facundo Mohrr, Powel, Matt Darrey, Roger Shah, and Airwave just to name a few.

As a DJ he is one of the "Resident DJ" of the Valhalla project in the city of Barcelona, where he has played in some of the best parties alongside names such as Eelke Kleijn, Cid Inc, Dmitry Molosh, Navar, Soundexile and Interaxxis just to name a few.

On his home turf of São Paulo, he is responsible for two important nightlife projects:

UNIK ID, hosting artists like Nick Warren, Cid Inc and Darin Epsilon, as well as the PROGRESSION nights held at one of the most important clubs in Brazil, D-EDGE, supporting world-renowned guest artists all year round.

Pedro's DJ performances focus on underground electronic music, especially progressive house, deep house, techno and downtempo. His versatility to move between different styles depending on audience and event, allows him to perform club gigs same as festivals.

Everything about this musician allures us and we have him deeply locked inside our hearts. The set is a two hours trip that teleported us straight to a banging nightclub in Tel Aviv.

Wake up slowly to another banger of a set by our Geju. Ever since the Russian duo set foot inside our Gardens we have been completely addicted to their sound. The longer they play the more interesting it becomes and like always we gave them a three hour set during our Amsterdam Dance Event together.

Enjoy and tell us what you think. Even though we pick up on the deep and dark sound of the two, it also picks up the pace. Unlike Geju? Or did we enter a new period of time for these supertalent.

We come bearing gifts... It's only two weeks ago that we shared the dancefloor at ADE. What an incredible two days for The Babylon Family. With so much talent behind the decks and so much love all around.

Truly, spending time inside The World of Babylon helps us to see the world differently. More beautiful.. A place where kindness and compassion is the norm. Where cultures meet, love and befriend. Where you fall in love, find your life partner or friends for life. 

Thank you for creating such a beautiful space.

To celebrate these glorious days we will release many sets of our time together. We start with the closing. A magnificent performance of the great Oliver Koletzki. Wowowowow, perhaps his best performance in Babylon up to this date?

We're riding the wave of publishing one incredible set after the other from our weekender at ADE. We're obsessed with the sets. Wowie. 

Take off in the cosmic journey created by Diass. Although we had to miss out on this musician for a while, our love for his music never ended. He is a true master of music and knows how to take the crowd to another level.

Bravo Diass. The performance was spot on!
We can't wait to go back for a bit!!!!

Diass - The Seekers of Light ADE Showcase 2022

Thanks to a beautiful twist in time, we welcomed Unders to close The Seekers of Light ADE '22 showcase on the Saturday Day Event. This closing slot was initially meant for Viken Arman, but as it happen our Viken missed his plane. The upside of hosting events during ADE is that you likely find a replacement that you love and adore.

IN COMES UNDERS! He was on his way out after successfully hosting his own showcase on Thursday, but lucky us we managed to snatch him before he left.

A magnificent set followed! The element of surprise in this last minute performance carried out throughout his performance and he managed to take us on the perfect journey.

Perhaps his best performance in our Babylon up to this date.. What do you think?

Unders - The Seekers of Light ADE Showcase 2022

The 22nd Far blue concept is delivered by San Fransisco based DJ and producer Mark Slee.

Mark has taken an interesting approach while creating this blissful mix. The tempo makes a gentle arc up from 120 to 124 bpm and then back down again, mirroring the way the sun bends low over the horizon during a short winter day. From this oblique angle the light glows and glistens. 

So, for the next hour, let Mark take you on a ride which will warm you up for the cold days to come.

There’s something about this long haired Italian guy with incredible productions and energy for 20. At our ADE showcase he had the task to open the Star Stage on Saturday after the changeover. Not an easy task and only a few can do it. Glauco nailed it.. As he does with all his sets. He brings out this animalistic joy in our crowd. We’ve seen it at Wild as the Moon and we saw it happening again at The Seekers of Light. 

Enjoy the recording of this epic performance. Let it drag you through this Monday or any other given day that you want to lift the spirit and enjoy the music. SAGAN - The Seekers Of Light ADE Showcase 2022

This was my 10th proper Burn (not including the super special Free Burn.) I was on playa for 14 days total. Participating in the build, the magic and tear down. The dust and the heat were intense, creating the perfect storm for remembering the extremes of Black Rock City. But even with all of nature's surprises the “show” still pushed forward and ultimately we all had the adventures we needed.

I was fortunate to have a romantic adventure partner whom I was falling for deeply. We had met 4 months prior and both knew the playa could possibly shift or solidify our foundation. After a reflective Tuesday night, I found myself at the temple during Wednesday’s sunset and thought “I want her to show up here.” Behold my beating heart - 15 min later she came around the corner smiling and said “hello.” We embraced and gazed deeply into each other’s eyes. At that moment I knew I was all in… The playa adventures to follow were the sweetest of sweet!

During my burn night set, she sat on my booth monitor as I played from the heart. We shared tender moments as some lyrics hit home for us. I chose music that reminded me of life, love and dust. My hopes were it would do the same for others. Two of my favorite memories were when I played a track with the lyrics “falling for you” and the man fell. And the track that followed - I’ll let you figure out why ;)

This musical journey is a mix of tunes found by me and gifted by friends.
Special thanks to Justin, RY X, Illich, Rocky, Opal and Dio for bringing these tracks into my life. This set is a bit different than what I’m used to playing, but in the end, it encapsulates how I felt.  

And to my camp, Robot Heart: What we continue to create in the dust is pure love & beats. Our old double-decker with one of the best sound systems in the world has so much soul. I am grateful for all our efforts to make it happen year after year. Thank you to all the dusty friends in front of the bus that bring the spice!  

And to that special human that said hello to me 7 months ago (May 13th) on the dance floor. Meesh you 💕

"Playing the first set on the Mayan Warrior after the long pandemic hiatus was a bundle of feelings hard to describe. Nervousness, excitement and gratitude all mixed together. We build a set that started slow and mystic and selected almost only unreleased tracks to try and live up to the honor and set the vibe for this beautiful sunset. Playing at camp before the art car ventures into deep playa was a great way for us to give back and say one more time: „thank you Mayan Warrior crew for all that you do and for giving us such a wonderful landing and launching pad!“

Another year is coming to a close. And even though it hasn’t been an easy one for so many, it is the sight of the end that carries hope for the new. And luckily, we have the enchantment of music that accompanies us.
Music is magical. Music is equal. Music is touching everyone, no matter the culture. It’s the universal language of mankind, so let it be the nourishment of love.
For this special time, I wish every person the magic of a new beginning in the next year. It’s these new beginnings that protect us, help us live, as the author Hermann Hesse wrote.
So in that spirit, I wish every human safety, and above all: peace.

Christmas In Bed 2022

Headphones? Check. USBs? Backup USBs? Check check. We hop on the bikes and race off into the Playa, 25 mins before our playtime, wondering how we managed to leave so late for our first set at this year's Burn and our first set ever at Robot Heart. Luckily, a quick scan of the horizon reveals a huge, red heart straight ahead. We sprint towards the bus, tumble into its stomach and head up to the booth with 10 mins to spare. Made it!

We insert our USBs, one by one, and proceed to pick our jaws off from the floor: all Burning Man playlists empty - wait, empty?! What about the backup USBs - empty! Second pair of sticks - same story. We look at each other and laugh, look down into the lights and slowly descend into our element. We have been looking forward to this so much and no missing playlists are going to take that away from us. And that’s how we - against all odds - literally played our hearts out on a moving bus and under a beating heart <3

Thank you Robot Heart for that amazing experience, much love from us to you!
